Chapter 17: Our little secret and cliches

At the same time rose was training with Allison and creating her weapon, across town Kya wakes up yawning in a bed that is not her own and in a room that is also not her own, because last night she went to meet up with her current lover and they had some drinks and hung out then later they went back to the lovers home for some of their nightly fun. A small smile appeared on her face aa the memories from last night played in her mind, she turns in the sheets and sees her lovers naked backside facing her. She bites her lip and kisses around her lovers shoulder slowly and down their spine, they moan and giggle before turning over to face the yukimora girl. They kiss each other softly and slowly just enjoying the moment, they pull away with Kya pressing her hand against her lovers cheek. "You are so beautiful love, not gonna lie sometimes it's hard to believe that I get to call you mine." Kya said to her lover smiling, the lover smiled back blushing "I completely feel the same way baby, but are you sure nobody knows about us? Not even your brother?" Asks the lover, Kya nods in response "I promise baby, nobody knows about us and they won't until we decide to tell them. Just trust me okay? This is still our little secret." She says getting up and putting her clothes back on, the lover sits up on their elbow watching Kya get dressed. After she was finished the yukimora girl picked up her purse and started heading to the door, she stopped and turned looking at her lover covered in only a thin silk sheet and bit her lip at the sight. "You know I don't really have to leave, I'm sure Alex would understand even if he doesn't know anything." Kya said seductively, her lover gets up letting the sheet fall from their naked body as they walked toward to her.

They kiss softly one more time holding each other tightly, and they pull apart pressing their foreheads together "I would absolutely love for you to stay here with me, but I don't want to get on your brothers bad side babe. And besides I don't want anybody to find out about us just because you wanted to stay just to get some more ass, don't be naughty ms Kya yukimora or you'll get punished." The lover said smirking at Kya causing her to giggle, Kya wraps her arms around her lovers neck and pulls them closer so her mouth is next to their ear. "You should watch who you're talking to ms Talia Hale, or you won't get to see just how naughty I can really be." Kya said whispering in her ear. Talia bit her lip and sighed stepping away from Kya and sitting on the bed crossing her arms, Kya walked over and gave a small kiss to Talia's forehead. "Don't worry baby, I'll be back later today. Then we can have all the naughty fun we want, I promise." Kya kisses Talia one more time before sneaking out of the house and going home to her brother, Talia and Kya have been dating for nearly a month in secret. She knew her brother wouldn't care if she was a lesbian, but she didn't want to say anything yet because she's not ready to tell anyone yet; especially after seeing how Alex has been acting ever since he and Rose were forbidden to see each other by her father, it just wasn't the right time for surprise relationships. The anger he showed and the disorder in the pack worried her, it worried her because if the pack continued to be in this much disorder how will they stop Damien and Betty? She reaches the house and sees that it's completely dark inside meaning that Alex and Maya were more then likely asleep, she sneaks inside and quietly goes to her room. After getting ready for bed Kya gets her phone and puts it on the charger, she lays in bed and has a peaceful dream filled sleep. Later the next day at school Kya is at her locker smiling and collecting her books for her remaining periods when she feels an unwanted presence behind her, she gulps and slowly turns around to see Betty standing there with a smirk "I could've sworn I saw you over here smiling, thought you forgot we were still here honey. Don't worry I'm not here to punish you, no I've left that pleasure to your father. Oh how he will so enjoy tearing your little ass up when he gets his hands on you, and I'll be there watching with my favorite glass of wine. Just like the good ole days, right hun?" Betty giggled with evil in her voice watching Kya's fearful actions. The scared yukimora girl kept her fist clenched as she stared down her evil adopted mother, she wanted to say something but shit was afraid; she was afraid of her and what she would tell her adoptive father Damien. Betty flicks Kya in the forehead Before walking off smiling to herself, Kya whimpered running into the nearest bathroom and quietly cried her eyes out in a locked stall. Soon after that she heard the bathroom door open and girls gossiping and giggling as they walk inside and to the sinks. "Oh my god that test was like so lame I almost died from Bordem." Said one of the girls doing her makeup "I know right, and we like have cheer practice later today for the game. God these teachers just have no respect for the hard work we put into these routines." Another girl said as she picked her nails and looked into the mirror "You guys hear about Josh going to prison, and I'm not talking about juvie, I mean like that prison for all of those other supernatural freaks?" Says the third girl, the other two girls look over in the third "Yeah I heard about that, they said he raped that girl Rose and tampered with McCall's trial and even tried to kill him when he got out. Like that's totally crazy." Says the second girl and the first girl scoffs "Yeah right, I bet she's totally lying about that shit. Josh is like so hot and sexy, he's not capable of something like that. She probably cheated on McCall and couldn't take the guilt so she lied and said he raped her, total slut move." The second girl hums in agreement "Hell if that's the case he can rape me anytime." She said jokingly making the other girls laugh and giggle, "Like totally right? Andwhy would she want to date McCall anyway, he's always been such a freak. But he's a hot freak, so I guess he gets a pass." Said the second girl "I know right, but hey I bet that sister of his is a bigger freak then him. I mean just look at her, she just looks so fucking desperate for friends and shit. Like come on get a life loser, and maybe even a boyfriend." The first girl said laughing along with the other two "Oh and speaking of that loser, she's suppose to be going to join the team without even trying out. Like seriously." said the first girl, the other two girls look at her shocked "Are you fucking serious, there's no way! The captain would never allow that, that freak can't join our squad!" Exclaimed the third girl. While listening Kya was beginning to get angry at these girls for talking about her brother and her friend, she didn't care if they talked about her just as long as the people she cared about were not apart of the discussion. After wiping her tears the yukimora girl gets up from the seat and opens the door revealing herself to the mean girls causing them to drop everything they were holding as they realize they were heard by her the entire time. "I don't think it's nice of you to talk about my friend or my brother like that, you need to apologize." Kya said crossing her arms and looking at the girls, this made the three girls laugh loudly at the girl as she attempted to look intimidating and serious. "Okay first of all, you should learn not to eavesdrop on peoples private conversations. And besides it's not like we're lying, your brother is a freak and Rose is a slut, just plain and simple for a loser like you." The first girl ,known as Haley, said crossing her arms. "My brother is not a freak, he's just different." Kya said still clenching her fists at her side "Oh please, that's just another way of saying freak. And Rose is still just a slut for sleeping with Josh and lying about the rape, it's just what she does." The third girl ,known as Megan, said "Yeah and she's a home wrecker for stealing Alex from Maya while she's pregnant, a home wrecker and a slut really sums up Rose's profile don't you think?" The second girl ,known as Karen, says with a smirk. "Oh and we heard about your little attempt to be on the cheer squad, I'm gonna tell you this right now. That's not gonna fucking happen bitch, the squad has enough members and we don't need someone with a freak of a brother like you on the team." Haley said roughly pushing Kya into the sink as the other two surrounded her blocking her chances to exit 'Is this seriously about to happen, I'm gonna get jumped in the bathroom by a bunch of prissy high school bitches? Not cool.' Kya thought as it looked like she had no way out, Haley raised her hand and before she could hit Kya the bathroom door opens and all the girls look to see who entered, It was none other then Jane Hale-Argent. "Just what the hell do you think you're doing?" Asked the young werejaguar making the 3 girls step away from Kya, Jane walked more into the restroom and crossed her arms "Well? I'm waiting for a good explanation as to why I caught you in here trying to beat up my friend, so start talking." The three girls just stood there lookin down and scratching the back of their heads until Haley decided to be the first to speak up "It was nothing Jane, just a stupid joke. Right girls?" Karen and Megan nod going along with Haley's lie "Yeah right, it was just a little joking around." Said Megan "Yeah totally, it was just a joke to welcome our newest addition to the squad." Karen said right after Megan, Jane raised an eyebrow not believing anything the girls were saying even if she couldn't hear their speeding heartbeats. She sighed and shook her head in disappointment "I warned you that if I ever caught you bullying or harassing anybody ever again you'd be off the squad and I'd get you expelled, so now you've left me no choice." The three girls hung their heads in shame and small tears started to roll down their faces, Kya then starts to feel bad for the girls as she watched them sob and cry. She sighed as she felt the strong need to help them, even though they kind of slightly deserved it she didn't want them to get expelled for being bullies. Kya sighed once again and stepped towards Jane grabbing her arm "Wait, it was just a little joking around. They didn't mean any of the shit they said, it was just us girls joking around and them congratulating me for joining the team." She said making Jane look at her and then at the other girls, Jane sighs and shakes her head knowing if Kya was truly like her brother she knew she wouldn't just let these girls get expelled for something so stupid; so she decided to just let it go. "Alright screw it, you're not off the squad and your not suspended, get the hell out and get to class." The three girls quickly run out of the bathroom and down the hall and Jane sighs leaning against the sink, she looks at Kya with an arched brow "I will never understand why you insist on being so damn nice, especially since they pick on you and were just about to kick your ass for joining the cheer team. Why not just let them be punished for what they did?" She asked as she turned to the mirror and washed her hands "Because we can't always fight our battles with violence and harshness, sometimes we can fight back by just being peaceful and being kind to one another; it doesn't always have to end in violence." Kya said facing Jane in the mirror, the werejaguar shook her head laughing as she looked at her "You sound like I was gonna kick their asses, although I probably should. I mean have you seen their outfits? And they want to call you a loser." She said half jokingly Kya laughed looking at her through the mirror.

"Don't be mean!" She said trying to contain her laughter, the two girls finished their business in the restroom and go to their remaining classes. After school Kya is walking home by herself since Alex didn't drive her due to him not going to school that day, she soon feels a presence next to her and smiles knowing it's Talia. "Hello my gorgeous girlfriend, why are here walking by yourself?" Talia asks wrapping her arm around Kya making her giggle and laugh "What are you doing Talia, shouldn't you be riding home with your brother?" The Yukimora girl asks her girlfriend "Well I thought about riding with him, but then I couldn't do this." Talia said kissing Kya's cheek making her blush lightly, the two girls take a small detour and sit on a nearby bench out of sight from anyone coming from the school. "Seriously Talia, why're you walking with me from school? I thought it was best that we would go separate ways home, so our people won't find out about us. And don't lie to me, I'll be able to tell." Kya said crossing her arms, Talia sighed and scratched the back of her head "I guess I was just worried about you." She said Boydblushing slightly, Kya placed her hand over her mouth and snickered quietly "And why were you worried about me?" She asks placing her hand on Talia's shoulder, the young Hale looked at Kya and placed her hand on top of hers "I was worried that you were hurt, that she hurt you because of how she threatened you in the hall. I just didn't want to find out that she did something to you, and that's why I was worried about you." She said with her head down, Kya lifted Talia's face up and kissed her softly. They pulled away and Kya looked into Talia's eyes "I love how you worry and care about me, I really do, but Betty won't do anything to me yet. She knows she can't without Damien there to watch, he won't allow her. Trust that I'm safe for now, okay?" Talia nods trusting Kya's words, although she'll always worry about her girlfriend Talia will always trust her more.

Kya kissed Talia again and pulls her by her shirt bringing her closer, they go to their homes and await for the next day to arrive and their troubles to start again.
