I drifted off to sleep in the midst of my work. After a long time sleep had evaded me. And I even more so had welcomed it with open arms. The setting was so clear and bright. I was walking down a busy road handbag in one hand and mobile in the other. "And make sure to eat and sleep on time" mom cooed before ending our conversation. Just then I hit something hard and fell on the pavement. Thankfully the contents of my handbag had not strewn as it had been zipped tightly. But my phone took a little hit and was at a good distance from me now. I looked up to see what had caused my momentum to break and was met by a pair of warm brown eyes.

By the time my eyes had manage to gorge at the rest of his handsome face he had already uttered some words I had been too distracted to comprehend." Sorry could you please repeat that?" I fumbled while my heart raced. The guy said nothing but smiled. Suddenly from somewhere my mobile managed to appear in his hand as he reached to give it to me. Please be careful.....and we will be seeing each other very soon "he echoed as I woke up from my dream "I grinned to myself stretching and yanking myself off my bed as I got ready for office still pondering over the contents of my dream.

"So what's the plan for the weekend" I questioned my roommate Jo when we met for lunch knowing what the reply would be anyway. "Ah Jen, I have laundry to do plus Jake said he might visit " Jo grinned knowing what was going on in my mind and what my reaction would be. I was about to give her a lecture on the importance of girl's day out, when my phone started to ring. I picked it up and saw it was an unknown number. I answered the call but no one seemed to respond. Then the call got disconnected. "Who was that?" Jo asked. "Not sure, wrong number maybe" I dismissed.

That evening after finishing off the day's work I was heading back to my hostel when my phone started ringing again .This time it was my mother. We were busy chatting about the day's happenings when I bumped into something hard. My feet slipped and I hit the pavement hard. "Ouch" I screamed as onlookers watched .I looked up to see what I had hit and my breath got hitched in my throat.

A familiar pair of brown eyes stared back at me. But it was nothing compared to his gorgeous face as a whole. His brown eyes seemed to be warm and welcoming , a nose that would be every sculptor's dream and a well defined jaw. He looked at least a good 6 feet tall and had a lean build and was wearing a black shirt and jeans. All in all I had stopped breathing for a minute. Somewhere in the back of my mind some voice seemed to whisper something... a mild thought ,but I was too distracted to ponder over this. The guy seemed freakishly familiar. I realized that I had been staring to the point of awkwardness.

"I'm so sorry" I whimpered instead of saying it in a sexy voice as I would have hoped for. He grinned and offered me a hand. I got up without meeting his eyes, cheeks flushing in embarrassment."It feels like I have seen you somewhere before ? " I thought of saying but it sounded like an old cheesy pickup line so I thought the better of it .Plus talking to random strangers on deserted roads didn't seem like a good idea.

"Thanks I'll be more careful from now on" I said before starting to rush away realising I was going to miss the last train back home. "Yeah sure, watch where you are going next time Jen" He warned. I stopped dead in my tracks. That tiny voice in my head said something was wrong. "But, how do you know my name?" I asked. "I stole a peek at your id "he grinned boyishly. "Oh ha-ha" I laughed before looking down to see my id when I realized that it wasn't there. I looked up and the guy was nowhere around. Feeling creeped out I started to walk away very quickly .

"Hey what's wrong Jen?" Jo asked. I looked at the mirror. It had been half an hour since I reached my flat. I now remembered where I had seen that face .He had been the guy from my dream. How was it possible to meet him in person.Had I already seen him before ? The dream that seemed so sweet and tender now started to seem frightening and creepy. My face had been drained of color from walking quickly. "Please tell me what's wrong Jen ?" Jo's voice took on a pleading note. "It's nothing Jo, got chased by a dog ...that's all" I fibbed stupidly.

Jo looked like I had gone insane. She shook her head and left the room mumbling some incoherent words before walking away.

I decided to take a bath before going to bed. Half an hour later I came out relaxed from the warm bath I had taken. I munched on some chicken salad and a pastrami sandwich for dinner. There was nothing new on the TV so I decided to curl up with a good book before hitting the sack. I was trying hard to block my thoughts of the day's happenings.

He appeared once more. He saw me and smiled. "Please don't be afraid "he coaxed as he took a step towards me. Although I tried to believe him I took a step back .His eyes were hooked on my movements. He grinned, slight dimple forming on his cheek's. Except I couldn't find this attractive. The hair on the back of my arm's stood up.

He took another step. At that precise moment everything seemed to change. My vision became dark and blurry and my head began to throb with pain. I tried to turn but my body couldn't move.

"It will be over soon Jennifer, and nobody will know", he laughed maniacally. I began to choke as his grip on my neck tightened .
