"Listen all this is interesting but I think you got the wrong idea" I said taking a few steps back.

"Are you sure my dear?" Renee questioned me her hand started to glow with dull light. Next thing I knew the iron rod lying on the ground  next to me turned into a snake.
It began to coil itself furiously around me and around my neck.

"Nathan ! Help me! " I gasped as the grip began to tighten. My face was turning blue
Nathan looked so concerned and took a step forward but Renee stopped him and to my surprise he did.

I was running out of air and choking. The skin around my ankle began to burn.Just then my hand started moving on it's own.It took the snake by gripping behind it's jaw and threw the snake against the wall.
The snake fell and got ready to strike with such amazing speed.
But I felt a huge force emanate from my hand and the snake began to levitate. In the next moment it turned to dust.

I heard five claps.
Renee patted on my back and said good job.
"Wait,are you kidding me?This was a test!"I screamed angrily.
Everyone looked calm except Zach who smirked and Nathan who looked apologetic.
"You didn't have to go this far Renee" Nathan said looking annoyed.

"The sooner we make her awaken the sooner we'll be stronger as a team and fight back" said Renee looking smug with her accomplishment.

A few hours later Nathan and I were back to my flat.
"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything. But I would never have  let you die " Nathan said his eyes looking sad.

My heart swelled with pity and something else. I couldn't understand the feeling at the moment.I felt guest inside. Was it fear? Was it stress? I was not sure .

I looked into eyes and the feeling increased. We gazed into each other's eyes for the next few minutes and I felt time stop.

'You have a twig stuck in your hair "Nathan said."huh" I asked unable to comprehend anything else.

"Nevermind"  he said moving closer to me to remove it.
I could smell a warm lavender cologne from him.

It filled up my lungs and my feelings increased.Nathan suddenly became aware he was too close to me and his eyes met mine again. His eyes then locked on my lips and he moved closer.

Just then my door opened and Jo came in.

What are you doing by yourself keeping your mouth open like that? A fly is gonna swoop in if you don't close it. Dinner is ready if you are hungry " Jo said giving me confused look as she left.

"Normals can't see us."Nathan smirked as I elbowed his chest.
"I will see you in the morning" he said as he jumped from my window again.

"Damn it Jo" I muttered as I shuffled my feet off to get to Dinner.

The sound of damp leaves being stomped upon echoed the abandoned cemetery as a dark figure walked towards him. The surroundings were muffled out by the nullifier spell.
The normals bustled about a block away not aware of anything.

He greeted her with a kiss on her hand and bowed showing respect.

"Do you think she will be a danger to us ?" She asked hopefully.

He shook his head with an air of annoyance." She is not even close to becoming anything. She is not as powerful as you ma'am" he said.

"No one is as powerful as me" She smirked, her eyes glowing a deep blue.

"Those guys are thinking they can wage war on us. They are trying to find all the unawakened." The buff stranger said.

"We have an even greater army. But just to be on the safe side we better find the amulet of namek ,just in case they bring in some wildcards. We don't want any surprises." She finished.

"I'll get someone on it" he said before leaving.
