jungkook let's go of jimin's soft and chubby hands as he fiddles with his keys to his small apartment. sighing as he twists the knob and taking possession on the hybrid's warm hands. "c'mon, jimin. we're home." he says when the dog seemed to be caught in daze.jimin only glanced at him, his lips pouted as he looks down once again. jungkook frowns, cupping both of the hybrid's cheeks. "are you okay?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side to inspect his hybrid. "you're acting weird, jimin. what's wrong?" he asks.
jimin only shook his head, snatched his hand away from his owner's grasp before walking past him and inside their apartment, along with some paper bags in hand. the human could only stare at his hybrid's back in confusion, surprised upon witnessing a new side of jimin.
after a brief moment, he snapped from his trance and followed suit inside, not forgetting to lock the door as he enters his home. he sighs, taking his shoes off and putting it aside. "jimin, talk to me." he says in a monotone. "what's wrong?" he asks, kneeling by his hybrid on the sofa.
and as he looks up to meet jimin's eyes, his eyes widen to see pools of tears by the corners of the hybrid's eyes. a gasp erupted from his lips. what could possibly trigger his precious hybrid to be this upset. "h-hey...what happened?" he reaches to wipe his tears. "tell me, baby."
jimin remained unresponsive, looking away as more tears cascades down his cheeks. by this, jungkook knew he fucked up. but where? when? he was sure as hell he made jimin feel special. he spent the whole day with him. he hugged him, held his hand and kissed his forehead. where could he possible go wro–
"– oh shit." he bits his lip as recognition floods his being. "you wanted to play with lamblamb." he mumbles, pushing himself off the ground, fished his phone in his pocket and dialled namjoon's number.
he sat by jimin as he hears the line ring, pulling jimin to his lap, casually wiping his tears away. "i'm going to call namjoon, baby. don't worry. we'll find your friend." he smiles, kissing jimin's now red nose.
namjoon picked up on the seventh ring, irritated and annoyed as he practically hisses his greetings. jungkook didn't waste time and went directly to the point, asking namjoon for the sanctuary's telephone number and grinning as wide as he could when namjoon grumbles under his breath that he'd just send the number along with the address as well. "thanks, hyung." he smiles, his free hand massaging jimin's arms.
"i'll call the sanctuary later and ask for your friend's address and his owner's phone number, alright?" he tells jimin who seems have no intentions in calming down. "so stop crying baby, you'll meet him again soon." but to his dismay, jimin only turns away, moving away from his lap and into the kitchen.
now what the fuck was that?
jungkook now feels nothing but frustration. if that lamblamb guy wasn't the problem then what is. he pretty much have spoiled jimin all day, throwing even unneeded compliments here and there. he made sure to put a smile on jimin's lips for the whole day. so what the fuck did he do wrong?
he stood up from the couch, marching towards the kitchen and grabbing the hybrid by the arm. "are you mad at me?" he asks, brows scrunched together as he was slowly getting annoyed by jimin's actions. "what did i do wrong, jimin?" his voice firm and sharp as he narrows his eyes at his hybrid.
jimin jumps at the tone of his voice, flinching as he cries even more. jungkook feels more stupid than ever, sighing as yanks jimin closer. "why are you acting like this?" at this, jimin lands a very weak punch against jungkook's chest, his sobs getting louder as more tears pools the corners of his eyes.
