he was sitting on the counter table, watching and just simply admiring the way the hybrid's brows creased in utmost concentration. he found the sight of the dog's hair slightly hanging as he looks down, his ears rested atop his hair and his tail dangling harmoniously behind him.

jungkook tilted his head to the side, a small smile gracing his lips as he watched how jimin's lips moved, mumbling silently as he counts the cupcake holes he had filled in. it was just one of those lazy wednesday where jungkook is free from both work and class, and deciding to just waste the morning baking cupcakes was a great idea.

"how do you know all this stuff, jimin?" jungkook wondered. how could jimin cook such incredible meals and still be clueless how a shower nor a doorknob works.

the hybrid paused, looking up as he smiles slightly. he didn't speak nor asked, but the slight confusion written in his face made jungkook slightly chuckle. he jumped off from the counter, sauntering to wrap his arms behind the hybrid, back hugging him as he rests his head on the dog's shoulders.

"how did you learn how to cook and clean the house, minie?" he asks again, more precise this time. "you're better than me when it comes to house chores. how'd you learn all of it, baby?"

he heard jimin giggle when he nuzzled his nose on the hybrid's neck before the dog turned around, meeting jungkook's lips for a brief goodmorning peck. "sanctuary," jimin started. "s-sanctuary teach jimin." he added, looking highly adorable with his broken sentences.

"they train you?" jungkook lifted a brow, earning a nod from the hybrid before he went back on filling each pans with the cupcake mix they both made. "– then you must be the best cook they used to have then?" he compliments, recalling the times he was so close to punching himself because there's really not a dish jimin didn't know.

jimin paused to shake his head, turning to him with a small pout. "no?" jungkook frowned. "then who is is then? that bitch must be one hell great to surpass you."

"s-seokjin..." jimin muttered lowly. and jungkook could only blink and stare at the hybrid blankly. of course, who the hell could ever be a greater cook than that pussycat. he could only chuckle, nuzzling his face in the crook of the hybrid's neck that had jimin giggling in utmost glee. "– but for me, you are the best, baby." he whispers, earning a red ear from the dog.

after that, they continued baking— more like jimin did. but they were both happy, huge smiles and grins painted in their faces as they chatted about things, jungkook speaking almost the entire time, sharing his past encounters with people, how me met taehyung and just simple about his life (minus his parents, of course). jimin only listened, envious of jungkook's eventful life, but still smiled as he enjoyed watching jungkook doing hand gestures as he talks, so engrossed into his story that he completed didn't realise jimin's silence.

and again, jimin found himself gawking at the human, a certain flutter residing in his stomach as it sent hurricanes to his heart and mind. and he may sound annoying for repeating it over and over again, he didn't care. because once again, he was drowning in jungkook's beauty— jungkook is beautiful.

and it didn't surprise him much to find his lips already sealed with the human, familiar sparks radiation over his body as he cups jungkook's cheeks and brought him closer. jimin could hear him chuckle through the kiss as a small smile made it's way to his lips.

"what was that for, baby?" jungkook asked when they pulled away, a small smile gracing his lips as he stared down lovingly at his hybrid.

"j-jimin's love," and again, it didn't surprise him much when jungkook chuckled, shook his head in glee before cupping the hybrid's cheeks and planted his lips against him once again.

they were so busy making out and showing their love, that they didn't notice the faint ding from the oven, leaving it ignored and well...burnt. it was jimin who smelled it first, being partly dog and human. he pulled away as fast, sniffing the air, which jungkook find highly adorable by the way.

jungkook frowned, the smell hitting his nostrils. "what's that smell?" he muttered. but his question was immediately answered when jimin jolted in panic, moving away from jungkook to grab the kitchen gloves and rushed to the now smoking oven.

he watched as jimin bent down to get the now burnt cupcakes, gently dropping it on the sink before he turned to jungkook with an adorable pout. jungkook chuckled, shaking his head before making his way to his hybrid, placing a small peck on the bridge of his nose. "it's okay, let's just bake another one." he suggested, earning a groan from jimin who pulled away from his grasp to shove his five fingers to his face.

he could only laugh. they had been trying to bake for the whole morning, having to deal with now five burnt batches of cupcakes, all because they couldn't help but get lost in each other's lips. "alright, alright. why don't we just crash namjoon and seokjin's anniversary dinner?" he suggested, earning a sigh from jimin. "c'mon, it'll be fun!" he grinned, pinching both jimin's cheeks like a baby.

jimin sighed for the second time, tilting his head to the side, hesitant and doubtful at the human's idea. but in the end, he grinned before he breathed the words, "okay,"
