My Over-Protective Brothers Chapter 2

"And he told Elliot that Ethan asked me to hang out and all of my brothers freaked out." I told Tori over the phone. She's my closest friend so nothing's ever a secret between us. "If I was your brother, I would freak out too. Ethan Johnston is the hottest and popular junior at our school." She said. "Yeah, you're right." I sighed. "Hey, do you want to have a sleepover at my house, just me and you?" she asked. "Sure, I'll come over tomorrow night." I said. "OK, see you at school." She said. We both said bye and hung up.

I put my phone on my nightstand and laid down on my bed. I heard someone walking near my room and knocked on my door. "Come in," I said. They opened the door and I saw my brothers come in. "Hey," I said quietly. "Blake, we want to say sorry, if you want to go out with him you can." They said. I nodded. "It's time for dinner, everyone." We heard mom say.

We all walked downstairs and sat at the table. Mom brought out a bowl of shrimp scampi, a bowl of salad and a basket of breadsticks. We fixed our plates. We started to eat. "Can I sleep over at Tori's house tomorrow?" I asked. "Sure." Mom said. We all finished eating and put our dishes in the sink.

I walked up to my room and changed into a pink long-sleeved sweater and black shorts. I put my hair in a messy bun. I picked up my white MacBook and turned it on. I saw my wallpaper, which is a picture of me and Tori jumping on my trampoline. I smiled and logged onto my Facebook. I had a lot of friend requests from boys that went to my school. I clicked on my status and wrote

Sometimes my brothers make me mad but we always find a way to make up in the end🖤

I got a lot of likes and comments on it, including a like from Ethan. I clicked on chat and saw that Ethan was on. I pressed his name and we started chatting

Ethan: Hey beautiful!

Blake: Hey 😊

Ethan: Are your brothers still mad at me?

Blake: Nah, they "allowed" me to go out with you

Ethan: "Allowed"?

Blake: Yeah, I was going to go out with you regardless 😉

Ethan: Sneaky, I like it 😉

Blake: Lol, goodnight Ethan

Ethan: Night Blake

I closed the chat button and logged off my Facebook. I put my laptop on my dresser and got into my bed before fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm clock going off. I quickly tapped my phone before getting out of bed and went to my closet. I picked out a red crop top with merci on it, a pair of black denim shorts, and black high-top Converses. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and got dressed. I put my hair into a ponytail and did my makeup before walking downstairs.

I walked into the living room and saw my brothers. "What are you wearing?" Samuel asked me. "Umm, clothes," I said smartly. "No shit, I meant the shirt." He said. "Aw c'mon, let me wear this shirt." I pleaded. "No, go change," Elliot said. "But we're going to be late for school," I said. "Change.Your.Shirt." He said again. "Mom!" I yelled. "What's the matter?" she asked me. "They won't let me wear this shirt," I said. "Boys, just let her wear that shirt." She said. I smirked and gave them a wink. They rolled their eyes and nodded. "Thanks mommy," I said before she walked back into the kitchen.

When mom finished breakfast, she called us to the table and we sat down. She put out 8 plates with an omelet on it and she had toast and bacon on the table. We each got some bacon and toast and started to eat in silence. When we finished, mom washed our dishes and we told her bye. We got in William's car and drove to school. I told the boys bye and walked into school.

I walked to my locker and saw Tori standing there. "Hey Tor, where's Shey and Bree?" I asked. "They're sick." She said handing me a Caramel Frappuccino. "Thanks," I told her. "You're welcome, don't tell Bree and Shey." She said. I nodded and opened my locker. I felt someone cover my eyes. I giggled. "Tori, uncover my eyes." I smiled. "I'm not Tori." The voice said. I gasped and turned around seeing Ethan smiling at me. "Hey." I said hugging him. He smiled and hugged me back. "So what are you doing on this hallway, I don't want you to get in trouble." I said. "I just wanted to see you." He said flipping his dark brown hair. I could have melted right there when I saw him do that. "Want to eat lunch with me?" he asked. I nodded. "But what about Tori?" I asked. "I have a friend that would love to meet Tori." He said. "Well, I'll see you at lunch," I said. He gave me another hug and waved bye.

I hooked arms with Tori and sipped some of my Frappuccino. Tori had a Mocha Frappuccino. When we walked down the hallway, everyone looked at us like we ruled the school. Tori and I are considered popular because I am a James sibling and Tori is a Taylor sibling. Tori's brothers were and are popular around here. We walked into History and sat in the back beside each other. The bell rang and class started.

When it was finally time for lunch, Tori and I walked to the lunch room and got in line. I got a hamburger and put lettuce and tomato on it. I paid for it and saw Ethan and his friend waiting for us. "Ready for this?" Tori asked and I nodded before we walked over to them and sat down.
