My legs are dangling off the edge,

The bottom of the bottle is my only friend,

I think I'll slit my wrists again and I'm gone, gone, gone, gone.

My legs are dangling off the edge,

A stomach full of pills didn't work again,

I'll put a bullet in my head and I'm gone, gone, gone, gone

Chapter 1: Bang!

I quickly wiped the last tears that I would ever shed again on this wretched place called Earth. I looked into the setting sun for one last time. The sound of rushing water of the river filled my ears as I closed my eyes. I wanted something as beautiful as the setting sun as the last thing I see before I go. My last smell was that of the lush green grass. I was at my favorite spot where I could go to escape, the forest. My last taste was the metallic tang of the blood inside of my mouth. I winced at the wound on my left cheek where she punched me. The last touch I would ever feel was the cold hard metal of the gun touching my skin. I put the gun to my temple, clicked the gun, took my last breath and pulled the trigger.

Bang!

I listened to Rise Against to my headphones and tapping to the beat while doing my math homework. I heard a loud bang and looked up to see my mom with an angry look on her face. She had a fairly good complexion and mocha brown skin. Her mother was Hispanic so she had that thick light brown hair. Her father was actually European so she has blue eyes. I didn't really look like her. Instead of mocha brown skin I have olive skin and have dark brown hair instead of light. The only thing we actually had in common were having blue eyes, but mine has gray mixed in the blue. I smiled at my mom mockingly.

"What do I owe the pleasure of, Miss?" I said sarcastically.

My mom's face contorted into a mix of disgust and rage. "I called you for dinner multiple times and I was wondering why you weren't coming down."

I gestured at my headphones and my iPod that was lying on my bed. " I was jamming out on my iPod to Rise Against. Well, before you interrupted me, dear mother."

My mom scowled at me."Just bring your ass downstairs before I throw your plate away." She left my room after saying what she had to say.

"Yes, sir!" I fake saluted at her retreating figure.

I quickly got up from my bed to meet The Witch and the rest of the 'family' downstairs. I was greeted by the scowl from mommy dearest, indifference from the sperm donor, a glare from my very bitchy sister, and a creepy smirk from my creep of a brother.

I sat down at my spot at the table with a sarcastic grin on my face.

"Hello my least favorite people in the whole universe." I said with enthusiasm.

"Oh, shut up and eat." My dear mother said while setting down my plate in front of me.

I looked at my plate and saw that the steak was charcoal black and it looked like a piece of brick. I poked the 'steak' with my fork and it felt like brick too. I looked at everyone else's plate and saw that their steak looked like an effin' five-star restaurant steak.

"How am I supposed to eat this piece of brick?" I asked while poking the brick with my fork.

"If you don't like my cooking you can go eat somewhere else." My 'mom' said with attitude of a teenage girl.

"Fine"

With that I grabbed my jacket and left the house.
