"For there is no friend like a sister in calm or stormy weather; To cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one if one goes astray, to lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands."

Chapter 10: Peyton's First Day

"Are ready for your first day of school?" Peyton rolled her eyes at my question.

"Like I said the first time, I'm fine. Stop asking me!" I raised my hands in mock surrender.

We were in Paul's car that was parked in front of Peyton and I's school. I was making sure that Peyton was as comfortable as she can be before walking in a crowd of curious teenagers who only care about reputation. The only reason why I'm having Peyton transfer to this school is so that if she gets picked on by these assholes, I'll make sure that they'll be walking sideways for messing with my sister.

"Well, let's go inside since you seem excited." Peyton rolled her eyes at me but smiled in amusement.

"Whatever."

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Peyton stopped from getting out of the car to look at me curiously.

"If anyone and I mean anyone messes with you for any reason, don't hesitate to come to me. Do you understand me Peyton?" I didn't want her to experience what I had to deal with all of my life, she doens't deserve to be put through the shit I had to.

"Thank you." Peyton smiled gratefully at me.

"For what?" I frowned in confusion.

"For being the sister I wanted for so many years."  I simply smiled at her.

"Let's go inside before we begin painting each others fingernails and gossip about how fat Becky has gotten."

"You're so weird, Pick." She chuckled as she got out of the car.

"It's called being limited edition." I cockily smirked at her as we walked to the main entrance to Hell.

"What do we have here?" A nasally voice interrupted our conversation. Che was blocking our way into the school. The people that were also making their way into the school stopped to see the drama that Che was unnecessarily starting.

"We have someone that's going to pull out your extensions if you don't move out of the way." I raised an eyebrow, which made Che put a hand on her hip before haughtily glaring at me.

"That constipated face looks good on you by the way." Peyton snickered.

"Aren't you supposed to be suspended?" I smirked at her before slowly stepping into her personal space. Che looked shocked at my advancement, but stubbornly stood her ground and continued to glare at me. My face was only centimeters away from her face, which made everyone silent with anticipation on what was my next move. Che was also holding her breath and had a look of unease and curiosity. Moving my mouth near her ear I whispered:

"My suspension is on vacation at the moment. What, were you going to miss being a bitch towards me?" Che's whole body shivered and started to breath in short and quick breaths. Che stepped away form me and glared daggers at my smirk before storming into the school.

"Who was that? " Peyton raised an eyebrow at me while we walked down the hallway filled with other students of the school.

" That, my dear sister, is a bitch loves getting punched in the face by me. " I said as I lead her to the main office to get her schedule.

"You punched her in the face!?!"  Peyton asked incredulously, which made me confused since she should already knew that I take no one's bullshit.

"Of course. Why would you think that I would just let her insult me? " Peyton shrugged her shoulders.
