I walked with Michael along numbly. How could Oriel have done this? I leaned my head on Michael's shoulder and tried not to cry. We reached the edge of the camp and Michael sat down and pulled my next to him. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me close. I closed my eyes and curled up close to him his strong arms wrapped around my shoulders comforted me and made me feel protected. I played with the sand while my eyes were closed and Michael played with my hair twirling it around his fingers. I feel his heartbeat against my shoulder and adjust my position so that I'm looking at him. He smiles at my and leans in making the space in between our lips disappear our lips move in sync and his hands runs through my hair all the bad memories from our past fade within the moment and my minds slips into nothingness concentrating on one thing and one thing only, Michael My boyfriend that I love with all my heart and nothing will take him away from me. I pull away and smile burying my face in his neck and he kisses my forehead. Pulling me closer soon I doze off to a half-asleep state.
I feel Michaels arms around the back of my knees and around my shoulders and he lifts me off the ground I see a hazy smile, something that I haven't seen in a long time coming from him. It makes me smile to and Michael notices he laughs and stops."Do you still want me to carry you" he asks
"That would be nice, if you put me down I'd fall asleep on the ground right here right now" I reply with a yawn and wrap my arms around his neck. Soon we reach the tent and he puts me down on my sleeping bag and turns around to leave but I grab his wrist before he can go, "where are you going?" I question him.
"Bryson's not here I'm going to look for him," Michael replies with a smile "don't worry I'll be back soon." Then he left leaving his words floating in the air.
