Benny's Pov
Today is the day that dad and I are going to see John's Lawyers. I have no clue what this is over, but I want to get it over with. The past week since John passed away I've gotten a lot of calls over the shed and car business. Like I told them, I only am a mechanic nothing else. I was waiting outside when I saw dad pull up in mama's mini van. I know how much he hates driving that car. Oh well, I still have a cast on my foot and still hopping on my crunches.
I got in the mini van and looked over at dad. After all of these years dad hasn't changed a lot. I saw the same 31 year old man that married mama all them years ago. I smiled at him.
" You ready son?" Dad asked me. I smiled at him.
" I think so. I just wish I knew what was going on." I said to my father. He smiled at me.
" We are going to find out right now." Dad said to me. He pulled out of my drive way and headed into town.
" How's Tyler doing?" Dad asked me. I looked over at him.
" He's doing really good. Last night Shiloh put him to bed, before she left for work." I said to my dad.
" I remember the nights your mama had to work. I hated them." Dad said to me. i smiled at him.
" I know what you mean. I don't like them at all." I said to him.
" When is Shiloh going to move in with you and Tyler?" Dad asked me. I looked over at him.
" I don't see that happening any time soon." I said to him.
" Why not? You love her, I know Tyler is crazy about her?" Dad said to me.
" We are still young?" I said to him.
" Just know this much, she is one in a million. It took me a long time to find your mama. I don't want that to happen to you." Dad said to me. I looked at him.
" How did you know mama was the one?" I asked him.
" Well, I didn't at first. Billy and I was pen pals when I was still in the army. But when I had to go to rehab with my drinking, I almost lost her and Billy. That woke me up. After I got the help, I was a new man. All I could do is think about was your mama. She is the best thing to happen to me." Dad said to me.
Mama told us the same thing. They are so in love with each other. But as long as they are happy then I'm okay with that.
" You and Shiloh are lucky to have each other in yours 20's. For most people they don't get that love until they are much older in life. Don't let her go. Tyler might kill you." Dad said to me. I smiled at him.
