Jasmine's POV.

We were on the 3rd drinking game in 30mins and everyone was having an amazing time already. We were all getting pretty drunk and definitely ready to go out, I was just pouring myself another generous measure of vodka, lime and lemonade when Demi's Heart Attack came blaring through the speakers.
I squealed and downed my drink as fast as I poured it and grabbed Paul's hand. He was my fellow lovatic at uni and my partner in drinking dancing crime.

"OMG Jazz! Get your tight little ass on the table with me and sing!"
"You make me gloooowwwwww, but I cover up won't let it shooiowwww!"

Paul started dancing behind me while singing, grabbing my ass and pulling me into him, if people didn't know he was gay they would be worried sometimes but I loved him. We are both outrageous flirts and very similar people.

"Okay party people, let's go before these two decide to stay in and have another Demi doesn't love me pity party" Leah shouted over the music and laughter.
"Oi Leah! wash out your mouth right now, Demi does love us she just doesn't know it yet!" Paul slurred in response.
I chipped in "yeah one day I'll meet her and we'll run away together and make tiny little musical genius babies".

At that point I span around and slipped ever so un-gracefully off the table on top of Darren who just laughed and picked me up to my feet. I stumbled back to my room to grab my bag and phone so we could leave.
Everyone was yelling at me to hurry up cos the taxi had already arrived to take us into town so I pulled my phone off the charger and threw it in my handbag without even glancing at it.

I wish I had.

*** 3 hours later***

The club was packed, just the way I like it, I was drunk enough to let my inhibitions go in public and the pounding of the bass drew me to the dancefloor the minute we got here. I was dancing with my friends all the while keeping my eye out for someone new to talk to, dance with, who knows maybe even bring home with me. I glanced over to the bar and caught the eye of the cute girl who works there, we flirt everytime i come here and everytime it goes exactly the same way. She asks what I would like and I tell her a dance, she tells me she has a boyfriend and I respond that its a shame because shes cute and a big flirt, she would then tll me its hr job to flirt with her customers, then I order my drink and tell her maybe next time ill get more than a flirt and a drink and give her a sexy wink and walk away.
I was just about to go over to her and begin our usual ritual when another girl walked past and caught my eye, she was stunning, possibly even looked gay - always a bonus - and heading for the toilets. I decided to be brave and follow her in. She went straight to the sinks and began fixing her makeup in the mirror, I hovered awkwardly beside her wshing my hands unneccesarily, just for something to do. I caught her smiling at me in the mirror and she blushed when she noticed me looking.

"Hey there..." I said "hows your night?"
"It's alright so far" she said with a cheeky smile. 'perhaps its about to pick up..."
Hey! She was flirting with me... awesome. She took some perfume out of her bag and began spraying it lightly on her wrists and collar bones... I moved closer,
"That smells great, what is it?" I asked genuinley.
"Hugo Boss deep red, my old faithful, it always works"
I looked at her quizzically.
"Do you like it?" She said looking me dead in the eye while stretching out her neck inviting me closer to smell it properly. I moved my face in next to her neck and took a deep breath in, oh my god, it was amazing and immediately she put her hand on the small of my back and pulled me into her body. I looked up at her and she leant into whipser in my ear, before she even spoke i felt her breath on my skin and it made me catch my breath.
She giggled playful and whispered, "See, I told you it always works..."
I smiled and was just leaning in to kiss her when something started vibrating loudly aginst the sink we were standing beside. The girl pulled away and laughed,
"Wow you're keen arent you! And very assumptive!"
When it clicked what she meant I blushed,
"Oh my god no! Its just my phone hold on..."

I pulled my phone out of my bag for the fiorst time that night and panic set in slowly. 20 missed calls, a bunch of voicemails and another 5 text messages. Fuck. Whats going on?
They were all from people at home, my brother, our Aunt Sarah, and even my older sister who lives in Australia now. As I read the first text messgae that appearedf on my screen gasped and dropped my phone, sobering up instantly at the same time as the room was going blurry and the heavy bass from the music was no longer mkaing my heart pound with excitment instead it was echoing in my ears like a nightmare. I grabbed the side of the sink and tried to breath but I couldn't I just screamed while looking at the phone on the floor, the text message still showing.

1 text message: Aunt S
