"You're going to love it here" my new mom says as we stepped out of the SUV. I gave her a smile it sure was different here.

I stood out against the crowd of the new pack. They all wore bright shorts while I wore dark tore up blue jean shorts. They wore tennis shoes while my cow boy boots were dirty. They had bright T shirts or tank tops, yet I had a rebel flag T shirt on. Their voices we Angelic mine had a southern drawl.

I was different from the blonde girls with tall skinny figures. I was a short girl with a thick figure and brown hair.

I was natural southern beauty, they were California Barbies.

We walk to the new house, my mom wanted me to change before I went to dinner. I had about 9 hours, so I quickly unpacked my clothes and make up. I decided on a white dress and light make up. I left my curly hair down then slipped on my boots.

I ran down the stairs as soon as I heard my new moms voice calling my name.

"You're wearing boots, to meet the alpha and Luna?" She asked with a disapproving look.

"I only have boots" I explained quickly.

"We will have to buy you some shoes tomorrow" she noted while walking to the door.

I had just now noticed how fancy they were. She had on a dress, and heels and my new dad had on a suit and fancy shoes. I would have to get used to this. We walked to the pack house and got seated at a fancy table.

The alpha and luna came in looking sophisticated. They sat at the head of the table where the luna and alpha should sit. Then their son came in holding a hand of a drop gorgeous girl. She was a California barbie, but she didn't need make up. She had this perfect skin, a soft heart shaped face, beautiful light blue eyes, long straight blonde hair. Her mark was on display like all Luna's would have. She had two red marks, it's not typical for it to look like that if you're of High ranking. Leading me to believe she wasn't originally mated to her "mate."

My wolf growled at her with jealously.

She looked at me and smiled with such kindness that I could only hope to have. She was humbled. As I believed I wasn't.

Then the smell hit me. Rain and chocolate. My favorite. It was addicting. My wolf pushing me to go run to him.

'mate' grey, my wolf purs to me.

'he has a girlfriend, better yet a future luna already in line' I say quietly to her, putting my head down.

' oh well, he is our mate and that's our position' she argues with me.

She's right, but I can't take away from their happiness. I couldn't bring my self to speak out on the fact he was mine.

' he doesn't want us, he chose her, she wears his mark, not us.' I yell at her as my wolf whimpers, I felt bad. I just want what is best for him, and that's definitely not me. I'm weak, I probably couldn't defend myself, let alone a pack.

I watched as his eyes look at me with an unapproving look, then he sat down. His pitch black, curly hair bouncing with the action.

I couldn't help but to think, if we were to get together and have kids. I hope they would get his vibrant green eyes and not my dark blue ones. They would most likely end up having black, curly hair. They would be like him, perfect.

"Hello my name is Jackson, this is my mate Alina. This is my son and soon to be alpha Nico and his soon to be luna lily" even her name was beautiful. She was unreal, I despised her for it.
