♕ chapter two ♕

I woke up the next day with my head pounding and my checks feelings gross from the dried up tears. My hair was tangled and all over the place.

I groan and sit up to see that it was dawn. deciding I couldn't go back to bed I went and took a shower.

As soon as I put clothes on and did my hair and make up I went downstairs and made breakfast.

I heard my mom come downstairs and was on the phone with someone.

"Amaria" she says as she walks in the kitchen. She stopped and looked at me confused. "why are you cooking?"

"All my other homes made me cook, I figured you would be the same." I told her while I finished up the rest of the bacon.

"Sweety no. You are our daughter now, you are not a slave you don't have to cook if you don't want to."

I gave her a warm smile and muttered a thank you.

"Dad has gone out with the alpha. Apparently something happened last night with his son." She said while getting orange juice. "I figured we could go shopping, together. Get to know each other, yeah?"

I nodded and ate my food. I was worried about Nico and what had happened.

We walked around the mall talking and laughing.

She was a lovely woman who was a pack doctor before she had retired. She was apparently the best there ever was, it doesn't shock me she seems very intelligent. She wasn't able to have kids and was so excited when she heard about me. It made me feel loved. Something I haven't felt in years.

We went to the food court and got Chinese food because Chinese food is the best.

I was in mid bite when I heard his voice. I knew he was hear. Then I smelt her, the soon to be Luna.

I cringe and just tried to ignore it. But before I knew it they were over here talking to my mom.

"Hello Mrs. smith, how is your retirement going?" Nico ask smiling to her.

"Lovely, how are you and your mate?" I flinch at her words. We were terrible, but she didn't know that.

"Lily and I are amazing" he says smiling at her. My wolf was ready to put the whore in her place but I held her back.

"I'm gonna take my things to the car, come out when you are ready, yeah?" I say quickly grabbing everything. My mom nods and the continue talking.

Grey wanted blood, she wanted to sink her teeth into her neck and rip the terrible mark right out of her neck. She wanted to Rip her heart out and throw it at Nico's feet. She hated her for stealing her mate. She hate him for choosing her. She hated me for letting it go. She hated everyone but Nico's wolf. I couldn't blame her it's only nature.

"Amaria! Wait up!" I mentally growl at the voice but turned around to see the blonde run to me. "are you okay, you look upset" she was kind, and beautiful. Of course he would go for her.

"I'm fine I just don't feel good." I state trying to walk away. The smell of the pup in her stomach wanted me to throw up. It was taunting me.

"You know I think we will be great friends, your parents our close friends of the alpha and Luna. Maybe we could be the same." I promised I would yell or scream I will be calm.

"But you aren't the real Luna." I said without thinking.

"H-how do you know?" She asked, her face was priceless.

My wolf was howling because of how proud she was of me. I was standing up for us.

"You're mark, it's just two bite marks, that kind of mark our for low ranks. If you were a true luna, your mark would be two bite marks with the alphas name written under it." I state casually, my tone not showing how much I hated her.
