♔chapter five♔

I woke up with the hope Ares was still next to me. But to my dismay he wasn't.

My heart started beating faster with worry. My dream had felt so real, that I was terrified it would come true. I stumble out of the bed, my feet getting caught and almost falling.

"You need to stop being so clumsy" I scowl my feet and then I start walking, hoping to find Ares.

"Alpha Ares!" I scream, my heart sinking when I can't find him.

'he is in his office's I jump from my Wolf's voice.

'why have you been ignoring me grey? I'm trying to move on too. I need you more then ever, and you aren't there' I tell me wolf quietly as I walk around the house trying to find his office.

'take a right. I just needed time, I'm sorry mari. It hurts so bad'

'I know grey, can I ask you something?'

'of course mari'

'is Ares our second mate'

I came to a big door that smelled of him so I fling the door open.

"Alpha Ares there you are I was so scar-" I stopped mid sentence as I realized there was other people there.

Two males sat in the chairs opposite of Ares. I blushed at my outburst as the males look at me with amusement.

"I'm sorry mea amor, I had to deal with business. I could use a second opinion if you would like to join us?" He genuinely seemed like he wanted my idea on whatever is happening.

"C-can I go get changed first?" He gives me a nod making my feet run to my room.

I slipped on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white button up shirt. I thought that I should look a little classy but not like I was trying to impress them.

I walk in the room putting my hair in a bun then sitting next to Ares.

I look to all the boys silently asking what this meeting is about.

"We have been having rouge problems, they are trying to take down our pack. We wanted to know if we could have a few warriors"

I nod understanding, they were probably a small pack if they needed warriors.

"May I give a suggestion?" I ask Ares and he just nods to me. The pride in his eyes had my heart swelling.

"Maybe we could have a warrior go and train his warriors. If that isn't good enough we can go and take our warriors and deal with the rouges ourselves. But I don't see the need of giving you a few warriors."

"Well what if you don't get there in time?" He scoffed at me. You could tell by his face he thought I was just a female who knew nothing.

I was a true luna and I would prove to him I was.

"Our warriors are trained well, I'm sure you are aware. That is why you can here correct? If the warrior believes you can't handle them then we will step in."

"You are risking lives by one little warriors thoughts?" He asked out rage. He stands up and slams his hands on the desk.
