♔ chapter three ♔

It's been five weeks and I haven't heard anything about Nico. I was glad because I didn't want to hear anything about him or his female.

I got dressed in leggings and a tight white shirt. I ran down stairs in slid in the kitchen. My mom looked up giggling as I fell.

"The floor is kind of hard you probably shouldn't fall" my dad says chuckling.

I looked up at him playfully glaring. "at least I don't say dad jokes" I get up and grab a plate of pan cakes.

"I rather make dad jokes then make a fool of my self"

I gasp and put a hand over my heart "well that was just rude" I shake my head as I plopped down in a chair.

"The alpha wants us to go to the annual picnic" my dad states as he reads a news paper.

"I don't want to go" I say shrugging.

"It's mandatory when the alpha wants someone there, they are to be there" I groan and ate my pancakes.

I knew if the alpha would be there so would be Nico and his female.

I don't know how much I could handle and if I were to fight the soon to be alpha again, the pack would hate me. Surely.

Once I was done I laid around all day and read my book.

"Tomorrow you will be up early, we are getting your hair done, nails done and we are finding a bomb ass out fit for you. My daughter will show her mate what he is missing" my mom said busting in my room.

I looked up at her with my eyebrows raised. "is that right? And what if I want to go in sweats and a tank top?"

"Well I guess you could, or you could make Nico suffer and make lily jealous"

"So tempting" I said sitting up, "I will have you know white or a light pink looks the best on my skin" I state as she giggles.

"I would figure you do have tan skin" she said.

California girls had tan skin but it was a soft tan, but us southern girls had a dark tan. We had more of the darker looks while up here they had softer looks. Obviously Nico liked to stick to his home town girls.

I had went to bed that night with anxiety. I were to see my mate loving another female.

"Your hair looks phenomenal!" I looked in the mirror and gasped.

We had decided to not cut my hair, all the girls here had their hair medium to short length. My hair had come down to my back and that's how it has always been.

My hair is naturally curly and very hard to straighten myself. So my mom decided it was best to get it straighten this one time and I agreed. My hair looked even longer now and it was gorgeous.

"Okay time for new shoes, and a Dress let's go!" I had already gotten my nails done, matte black. My favorite.

"I have new dresses and shoes" I state confused.

"Oh right! I forgot my bad well let's get food I'm starving" I nodded my head and we went to the food court.

I looked at the five dresses laid out. Two were long, one was to my knees and two were mid thigh.

Thinking about getting to him I went with mid thigh. Now just to chose from there.

One was a soft pink dress that was skin tight but had lace long sleeves.

The second one was a white v-neck dress that was tight on my chest but flared once it got to my belly button.
