Silence passes, maybe ten or so seconds before his resonant voice breaks through and he growls...
"Mine."
The moment that word slips past his lips, so does my knee from the door. In the process of me forcefully and swiftly snapping my knee straight, I scrap the skin beneath the fabric of the sweat pants, but I receive the very satisfying grunt and growl I was oh so hoping for. The heel of my foot smashes onto the top of his bare foot and once again, it was clear that he was not expecting me to fight him.
"Hell!" He yells, his grip slacking on my wrists and his chest peeling away from my back. He's breathing hard and trying to mask the pain that I know radiates through his foot and up into his leg, traveling through his body.
Good, he deserves to feel the pain everyone continues to put me through. He's not different from the others.
As his grip falters, I spiral in his loose hold. Our eyes lock for but a brief second, that is, until I strike his forehead with my own. Now he really starts cursing, letting me go completely as he staggers backward, one hand clutching his head while the other reaches out blindly.
