First period had just ended and I couldn't focus at all. I stopped off at my locker to replace my psychology textbook with my Pre calculus book. As I turned around to head to class I almost ran into Tyler.

Tyler was the captain for our school's basketball team until this year, where he turned to drama and music. He had a remarkable voice, was quite tall, and had brown hair to match his brown eyes. He was a very sweet person until you got on his bad side but as far as I knew, he didn't have many enemies.

He smiled at me and I smiled back, "Hey Tyler sorry about that I didn't see you." I told him.

"Nah it's cool, see you in Chemistry Ruby." He replied with a smirk and small wave.

I continued to Pre calculus until I finally arrived and took my seat. I hated this class, not so much because of the subject or the students, but because of the teacher. The teacher, Mr. E, knew how to teach but he didn't know how to be quiet, stay on topic, or manage time, and to be fair it was quite annoying.

I went through the class as usual, and once the bell rang, carried out the daily routine of packing up, rushing to my locker, dropping off my book and heading to the next class. Next class was gym so I stayed at my locker for a bit waiting for Chris and Tyler since it wouldn't take me long to get there. I had two minutes to get to class and I didn't see them so I decided to just leave. As I turned around, I ran into a broad, hard chest, knocking me to the ground. I looked up rubbing my nose to see Tyler laughing his ass off and Chris in the corner recording everything. I began laughing as well while Tyler helped me up but as soon as I was stable I took off towards the locker rooms, yelling bye to the boys as I went to change for gym.

Gym was the usual, the warm up run then a few exercises and finally whatever sport we were playing that unit. This unit just so happened to be Volleyball and boy was I glad for that. I was like a pro at Volleyball, hell, I was even on the school's team. After our teacher Mr. H was finished explaining the rules to everyone else and using me as an example, he let us practice until it was time to go. I was serving, spiking, and bumping like a boss until we had to go back in to change.

After I finished getting dressed, I went to my locker picking up my stuff including my Chemistry book. I was excited to have this class for two reasons. One being was that after it was lunch and then we only had one class left before getting to go home, and Two, we were switching seats and there was a chance I would be able to sit next to Tyler so that we could talk. I waited for Tyler by my locker like I did everyday and as usual he showed up a tad late, but I didn't mind much since Chemistry wasn't too far away. We got to class and all the seats were taken up except for a few in the back so Tyler and I decided to sit back there together.

The bell rang, waking me up when I didn't even know I had fallen asleep. I got up along with everyone else in the class and was getting ready to leave but noticed the teacher, Ms. Ross, was standing at the door collecting what we were doing that day. I started silently freaking out until Tyler tapped my shoulder and gave me a paper that he did for me in class. I smiled brightly hugging him and thanking him while walking towards the door. We gave her the assignments and went to lunch.

Tyler headed to the lunch line with Summer and Chris while I headed to the quad and sat under our usual tree waiting for them. I decided to get out my doodle journal and just scribble until I saw them coming back. I put the journal away and got out my water instead as they sat down.

"...and then I told Becky that just because I can play sports doesn't mean I'm a jock and stuck up, but she didn't believe me," Tyler said as he sat down across from me, Chris sitting to my right and Summer sitting to my left.

We all laughed and enjoyed lunch together before Summer nearly spit her milk all over us trying to tell us a funny story she had just remembered.

"Alright so Ruby and I were on a field trip back in middle school and it was for this medical program so it was to a hospital and all that. Anyway we were walking around with our group, blah blah, blah, but then they put on this anti-bully play and some of the actors ended up forgetting their lines and this other chick ended up tripping on stage and it was just the funniest thing because she was wearing a short skirt and she practically flashed all the actors on stage," Summer and I were laughing hysterically along with Chris and Tyler.

"Oh my, nooo I felt so bad for that girl because after she fell she went backstage and never came back out but yeah it was really funny," I added trying to compose myself but ended up laughing even harder.

We had all laughed to the point of tears when finally the bell rang. We all got up, threw our trash away, and headed to our lockers to pick up our History books since we all had the class together. I grabbed my book and headed over to Summers locker, only to find her pressed up against it making out with some guy, he looked a bit familiar but I didn't question it, most of the guys here looked the same anyway; tall, white, and dark hair. I let out a small chuckle and just decided to head to class. I got to class and did everything as usual, my friends arrived, we talked a bit, did our work, then waited for the bell to ring.

The last bell had finally rung, everybody rushed out of the class, including my friends, but I took my time packing up and heading to my locker, I couldn't stop thinking about that guy and summer, I only saw the back of him but he looked oddly familiar to me but I couldn't figure out why. I arrived to my locker and dropped my books and bag off since I didn't have any homework. Grabbing my keys and headphones I closed my locker and headed to the front of the school so that I could walk home.

I looked around for my friends before heading home and didn't see them, so I left. Halfway home I decided to go hang out at the tree house for a little bit. After about 40 minutes of aimlessly walking with music blasting I arrived and got inside, it was quiet inside and out, very peaceful, leading me into a deep sleep.
