Chap 2

I arrived home and the police havent arrived yet. "Jennie-ah, im home. Unlock the gates please." I carelessly locked the gate as i forgot that Taehyung is on his way back home. "Didnt you bring your keys?" I asked.

"I forgot. Is the police here?" He asked.

"Ani. Im sure that they will be here anytime. In the meantime, why dont we go inside?" I went inside the house followed by Taehyung.

"Look i dont know who is the kidnapper. If theres anyone who wanted to know about this case, dont tell them every single thing." I nodded and the police finally arrived at our house.

We talk about the case and gave the police Nari's photo. "We will do our best to find your daughter. The investigation team should already know about this. We'll call you if theres any clue." they give us the investigation team number. After that, they bow and left.

Just then, my phone rang.

*vibrates* Unknown number

I answer the phone just in case it is the investigation team.

Phone conversation:

Jennie: Yeobuseyo?

Caller: Annyeong jennie kim.

Jennie: What? How did you know me?

Caller: Want to know where is your daughter? I can give her to you but there is one condition.

Jennie: What is it? What the actual f**k you want from me?

Caller: First warning. Scold me and theres a risk your daughter is gonna die. Hehe...

Jennie: What is the condition?

Caller: Dont... report to the police.

I got shocked because i already report to the police.

Jennie: Okay.. I wont report to the police. So what do you want me to do?

Caller: You're so smart. I was about to give you a mission.

Jennie: What is the mission?

Caller: Find my missing friend two years ago. Within 4 days, i want you to bring him to me. I'll send you his picture and the address to meet me.

Jennie: Im asking a favour from you. Dont you ever hurt my daughter.

He hung up the phone. "Who is that?" Taehyung asked.

"T-the... kidnapper. He said that i should not report this case to the police but we've already report to the police."

"What?! How the heck did the kidnapper get your number?!" he said.

"Im not so sure. Lets call the investigation team." I grab the business card from my pocket and call the investigation team.

Phone conversation:

Investigator: Yeobuseyo?

Taehyung: Annyeonghaseyo? Detective, do you know about the kidnapping case? Im one of the parent.

Investigator: Ah... You are Jennie's husband right?

Taehyung: Yesyes im her husband.

Investigator: Whats the matter? Do you have any clue?

Taehyung: I dont have any clue but the kidnapper called my wife.

Investigator: Jinjja? What did he say?

Taehyung: He say not to report to the police. If we did, then my daughter will die.

Investigator: Then i shall not let everyone know except for my team. I will try my best to find the kidnapper.

He hung up the phone after thanking the detective. "What did the detective say?" I asked.

"He say that he will not anyone know about this except his team. If we have any clue then we'll call him." I nodded and my phone rang again. It is the unknown number again.

Phone conversation:

Kidnapper: Yah... Who did you call just now?

Jennie: What? I didnt call anyone...

Kidnapper: Dont lie. I know that someone called you. Who is it?

Jennie: It is my husband's friends.

Kidnapper: Really? I will check again.

He hung up the phone again and i got frustrated. "Damn it!" I punch the wall with the side of my hand, showing my fist.

"Jagi-ya, dont worry.. We will find her.." Taehyung hugged me.

"Lets go to sleep and everything will be fine." I agree and head upstairs to my room to sleep.

4am...

"What do you want?" I heard Taehyung talking outside the room. I head outside to check and he was on the phone. "Who are you calling?" He turner around.

"I'll call you back later." he hung up the phone and head towards me. "Its Jimin hyung." he said.

"Ah i see... Why did he call you in the middle of the night?" I met Jimin when me and taehyung went to dinner at one of the restaurant.

"Ah Bang PD wants us to practice. So Jimin called me instead." I nodded.

"Lets go back to sleep." He put his hand over my shoulder and head to bed again.

Taehyung's pov

What should i do?... I must not let her know that im meeting him..

A/N: I couldnt update my books on the weekdays now :'( School is starting tmrw and im scared that i dont have the time to update my books but hopefully i can update my books on the weekends. Damnnnn i need to put aside my hobby first😭😭 i really really love writing. Anyways, who is taehyung meeting? 😦
