Change of Plans

"Im sorry"

"Abby? What happened to Jaha?" Marcus asks.

"They haven't caught him yet." Abby says, looking down.

"What do you mean they haven't caught him yet!? They have to stop him before he uses those codes!" Marcus stands up and begins pacing the room, "we gotta change the launch codes."

"Marcus." Abby tries to say.

"We're going to have to get access to mount weather so we can change the launch codes." He continues to ramble.

"Marcus." Abby says a little louder.

"Clarke and Bellamy? The must have some type of connections...we need to tell them-"

"Kane!" Abby yells, getting his attention.

Marcus looks at her. Abby sighs as she sits down, "they changed the codes."

"They did?" Marcus smiles.

Abby nods, "but not before Jaha used them."

Marcus looks down as his smile turns into a frown. "How many?"

Abby shrugs her shoulder, "who knows? They say 200,000. The east coast is just rubble." She says.

Marcus stumbles toward the door, luckily Abby catches him.

"Marcus wait." She helps him into a chair. "We can't help. Higher authorities are involved. We are done with our job."

"I'm going to kill him. I don't care what they do to me after the fact but I am going to kill him." Marcus says angrily.

"We can't do anything. We don't have access to anything. They have all our weapons. Everything is Gone. You have done everything you can." Abby says, trying to calm him down.

"No. I haven't." Marcus leans his head back and sighs. He looks at Abby, "I don't need weapons. I need Jaha in front of me and my bare hands. That's it."

"You couldn't do it. You're physically too weak. Just leave it to the professionals. Please Marcus. For me. Do it for me."

"You still don't get it. I am doing this for you." Marcus says as he gets up and walks out the door.

Abby waits a couple minutes and then goes to talk to Bellamy and Clarke.

"Abby. How's Marcus?" Clarke asks.

"He'll live. He's still stubborn so he'll be fine." Abby says, "how are you? I heard there's gonna be another Blake soon."

"Oh yes. Although It's still really early in the pregnancy. But yes, I'm pregnant." Clarke says.

"I'm happy for you both." Abby says, then she sighs, "Marcus wants to go after Jaha."

"We know." Clarke says looking at Bellamy.

"And? Wait. Do you guys think it's a good idea?" Abby asks.

Bellamy is about to say something when Abby feels a sharp pain in her neck. She gasps as she feels her body go numb. Her body falls to the floor. Luckily someone catches her. She looks into the face of the man who caught her.

It was Marcus.

"Marcus. No. Don't go." Abby says as her shuts her eyelids.

"You really think it's a good idea? Going against orders? Knocking Abby out?" Bellamy asks Kane.

"I can't lose Abby. And screw orders. I'm taking this guy out." Marcus says.

"I'm coming with. Along with three of my finest men. We have a secret safe of weapons. And if you want those weapons, I'm going with you." Bellamy says.

Kane smiles, "I can't talk you out of it, can I?"

"No chance." Bellamy replies, "do we have a deal?"

"Let's go find Jaha." Marcus says.

As they are loading up the rover, Bellamy says goodbye to Clarke. "Stay safe. Come back home."

"I will. You stay safe. I love you." Bellamy says as he gives her a quick kiss.

"Bellamy. It's time." Marcus says. Bellamy walks toward the rover, "Clarke." Marcus says, "take care of Abby. Tell her...oh she knows." Marcus gives her a quick nod and walks to the rover.

A couple hours later

Abby moves her head around as she wakes up. She's all alone in a room. She remembers Marcus knocking her out.

"No." She mummers. She stands up and walks to the main control room.

Clarke notices her entrance, "hey sleepy head. Have a nice nap?" Clarke Jokes.

"Bellamy went with him." Abby states as she sits by Clarke.

"Yep. They are almost at Jaha's secret hideout. Oh and Emerson and Cage have been arrested and they are in solitary waiting for their execution date." Clarke says.

"Good. Are they in radio contact?" Abby asks.

"Nope." Clarke says messing with her wedding ring, "you know he loves you, right?"

"Then why did he leave?" Abby asks.

"Because he knew you two would never be safe unless he took Jaha down." Clarke says, "and if we are being totally honest, I think you love him too. You're just too afraid to admit it. Cause you're afraid you'll lose him. Just like you lost Jake."

"Maybe. But I need him right now. And he left me all alone." Abby walks out of the room.
