Broken hearts

"Bellamy." Clarke says as they reach the safe house.

"Clarke." Bellamy runs to her and hugs her.

Bellamy sees Marcus and shoves Clarke and Abby behind him, "what the heck is he doing here!?"

"Listen. I know that I'm on the top of your kill list right now. But you gotta trust me. I'm not one of them." Marcus says putting his hands up.

"You killed my best friend. Her husband by the way." Bellamy said.

"Bellamy." Abby said, "Let's jut go." Abby's face is wet with tears, "Let's please go."

"I should kill you." Bellamy said.

"Then kill me." Marcus says challenging him. "But you won't. because then you wouldn't be any better then me."

"Don't follow us." Bellamy said. "Clarke. Abby go start the car."

"Abby. wait." Marcus says, "please. I need to tell you something."

"Abby-" Bellamy says.

"I'll meet you in the car. Five minutes." Abby says.

Bellamy hesitated, then gave Abby his gun, "he tries anything. Shoot him."

Abby takes the gun and waits for Bellamy to leave. When the door shuts Abby continues, "you have five minutes."

"Abby. I am so sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I was just following orders. All I knew about him was that he had a wife and she was never going to be brought into the equation."

"But you wanted me too. Cause he would talk then right?" Abby said.

"Abby."

Abby turned around, "you know the funny thing. I loved you. or I was starting to, then you lied to me. You said that you never knew my husband, but you did."

"Abby-"

Abby turned toward him, "What!? What are you gonna say? That you're sorry. That you wish you could go back?" Abby says.

"I'm not going to try to cheer you up. I'm not going to tell you that I'm a good guy, cause the fact is it would do no good." Marcus says.

"Your time's up. I'm warning you." Abby says walking toward him, "because I think deep down there's a good man. A man behind the beast. Don't run after me. Let me go." Abby turns and walks out the door.

Marcus watches as she walks out the door. he slumps down into one of the chairs.

At the rebel's secret base

A big monitor was in the room. They were receiving a transmission from the states.

"Abby. What the heck happened in zento!?" Jaha said through the screen.

"I'll tell you what happened." Bellamy says stepping toward, "you hired a murderer!"

"Bellamy! Stop!" Abby screamed.

Everyone freezes and looks at Abby.

"Did you know Jaha?" Abby says moving toward the monitor, tears strolling down her cheeks, "did you know he killed my husband?"

Jaha sighs, "Abby-"

"Oh my god. You knew." Abby said, turning around.
"When were you planning on telling me I was working with the man who murdered my husband!?"

"I wasn't." Came the reply.

Abby turns back toward the monitor, "what!?"

"Abby. You are being too emotional. If we don't catch these guys, then we're all dead. I mean seriously Abby, who did you think I was going to hire? I mean what were the odds that the newbie would be the man who killed your husband? Think about it Abby. This is exactly the guy we need. And you need to get him back." Jaha says

"Float you Jaha. I'm done." Abby says.

"Abby-" Jaha tries to reason.

"I'm done." Abby says before walking out of the door.

Bellamy turned toward Jaha. "I want to catch these guys too. But I'm not working with the a man who killed my best friend, who was like my brother.

"You can act like you can do this without him, but the sad truth is you can't. Marcus Kane is our only hope."
