Chapter 18-Back home?
Rosemary's P.O.V.
I groaned in pain while clutching my head. There was a little bit of blood bleeding from the back of it. Hopefully I would be ok.
"Rose?" I heard another voice question. I looked towards the source of the voice to see my sister looking at me from the other couch. We were back in our living room, on the couches that we had fallen asleep on.
"Heather?" I questioned, not sure if I should believe that we're back home or not. I touched the couch to see if anything would happen and nothing did.
"We're back," Heather stated while smiling at me.
"Wait, you remember everything that happened?" I questioned, unsure of what was going on.
"Yea, I'm just not sure what happened. I was with Caitlyn when all of a sudden I woke up here," Heather explained while looking at me. I frowned, not really sure what had happened. I had hit my head extremely hard, maybe any second now I'll wake up and realize that I'm back at that place.
"That doesn't make sense, I kissed Jake, not Blake," I tried explaining to my sister. She gave me a curious look before her stomach growled. I walked into the kitchen with her and grabbed a bowl of cereal because I was actually really hungry.
Our front door started knocking. We turned to look at each other before looking at the door that was still being knocked on. I walked over to the door carefully to see what was going on.
Looking through the peep hole, I saw Blake, Caitlyn, and all of my friends standing in front of my door. Blake was luckily on the other side of Jake, but was also glaring at him.
"What's going on?" I questioned while looking at everyone, confused as to what was going on. I let everyone come in while Heather came out of the kitchen and sat on one of the couches.
"That's what we came here to figure out. Only you could have brought everyone back here but I thought you had to fall in love with me," Blake stated. I wasn't sure what I even did to bring everyone here or else I would have done it sooner.
"She kissed me, she doesn't like you and you don't deserve to have someone as amazing as her," Jake stated. I was surprised by Jake's words, but they also only fueled Blake's rage. Blake got ready to punch while Jake got out of the way before he could get hit again.
"Stop! There will not be a round two! Now everyone sit down!" I commanded and shouted, not wanting another fight between the two to happen.
"Now, we know that I had to fall in love with Blake, but there must have been some confusion seeing as I had kissed Jake and we're all back here safely," I commented. No one argued with my words and I looked at Caitlyn, she looked like she wanted to say something.
"I might have once read something in one of the books about our tradition. It was only a one time shot but it could only be broken if the sugar plum princess fell in love with another instead of the nutcracker," Caitlyn said. Blake's eyes widened, not believing that he's hearing this from his own sister.
"When did you find that?" Blake asked.
"After I had grabbed clothes for Rose I was just wandering around in the library and found something about our tradition. It was very confusing though because it ended saying that if the tradition wasn't broken, then it would only get worse," Caitlyn stated.
Everyone looked around the room, unsure of what to really say. I bit my lip while trying to think of what else there was that I needed to ask them. There was something fuzzy at the back of my mind, but I couldn't remember what else it was no matter how hard I tried to think.
