"Look, it's that new comer."

"Some say she's from the mountain Palace."

"Oh really? that's not what I heard, a little bird named Martha who overheard from someone else said the girl was related to that fortune teller."

"What's she doing here? is she one of us?"

"Of course she is, she wouldn't be here otherwise dimwit!"

"She's nothing but a desert bloom, why on earth would she be in relation to that fortune teller Averna?"

"Look at that wild look in her eyes, makes sense seeing as she's in relation to THEM."

"Who is she to Lady Kalaya anyway? I've never seen her before- what is that on her shoulder?"

"A pixie, I don't believe my eyes- she didn't do that to her Pixie-scar did she?"

"Ha, is it even possible? Look at the way she just strides through here like she owns the place."

"Who is that girl?"

Walking through the village Akina sensed an unsettling feeling of being watched, she held her hand to her nose and sneezed twice. Casiphia on her shoulder narrowed her eyes at the staring villagers, "wow didn't realise you were so popular, you're the talk of the village!" she spoke into Akina's ear.

Akina looked around slowly and saw watchful eyes on every street corner and from every house they passed, she gulped then whispered back, "Oh really, I hadn't noticed."

She followed quickly behind Kalaya struggling to keep up with her mother's quick pace, "Hey! why are you walking so fast? Ka-Kalaya?!" Akina's voice was lost in the crowd as she walked around people and dodging village obstacles- it must have been market day because a sweet smell of bread still swarmed the air in a mixed aroma.

Akina bit her lip tip-toeing to peer over the crowd's bobbing heads, she saw Kalaya's silky hair blowing delicately in the wind as she marched further away. Akina groaned and thought of ways to get her attention, she squeezed past two chubby ladies who were carrying patterned cloths that were to be made into curtains.

Akina moved her head searching for Kalaya through the crowd then she found her, she cleared her throat marching forward as the crowd partly separated, "MOTHER!" the whole world fell silent as people gasped looking at Akina with strange looks and began whispering amongst themselves...again.

Kalaya had most definitely heard, she paused with wide eyes feeling everyone's stare on her. She tightened her fists trying not to let it show that she was feeling exposed and got ready to start walking again. "Mother, Kalaya I'm talking to you, why are you ignoring me?" Kalaya stood with her back still facing Akina as Averna came out of the crowd behind but took a step back feeling the tension.

Akina folded her arms not letting the audience's stares and constant whispering bother her, she watched as Kalaya slowly turned round to face her. Her mother's eyes were hard and her lips were held tight, she cleared her throat hearing someone in the crowd giggle, "Akina not now, let's get inside then we'll talk."

Akina felt offended that her mother was embarrassed to have the village know who she was to Lady Kalaya, she kept her arms folded feeling the pixie move off her shoulder and crawl in her hair hiding in her thick braid also feeling how awkwardly intense it was. "Why not here?" she turned to the crowd shouting, "yes your beloved Lady Kalaya is my mother! What are you all staring at!? That is right people she is my mother! mother! mother!"

Some laughter started in the crowd as some childish young men started chanted: "Mother! Mother! Mother!" along with Akina.

A sharp expulsion of silencing wind emitted from Kalaya as her eyes peeled into glowing red. She marched over to Akina yanking her arm, "Akina how dare you commit such foolery on the streets!" she hissed looking hard at Akina's startled face as her eyes held her tight.

"Sorry" Akina raised an eyebrow before feeling herself losing control of her body as her mother's power grew dominant in her presence. Averna quickly went over and yanked Akina's arm from her sister's grip before it got out of hand again. Kalaya span round and marched off into her house, Averna held a hand on Akina's stomach as she released a breath, inhaling greedily.

An elderly villager spoke under her breath: "That's Lady Kalaya for ya, she's one powerful woman, that daughter of hers better watch her tongue or else she'll be in for a lot worst." Some say it be legend, some say they witnessed it with their own eyes - Lady Kalaya's glorious power is rare beyond the horizon.

One of her legendary stories to date was that night, where the only half-breed child of their kind was taken away into the jungle by a traitor. Not one Pixie-scarer was allowed to search for the child otherwise there would be bad consequences but Lady Kalaya was the only person brave enough- strong enough to make it past the barrier...the waterhole in the midst possesses it's own enchanted seal.

But driven by grief and rage her Pixie-scar Sinera locked away the final seal of her infinite power in order to protect her from what her vengeance was turning her into.

Some say they witnessed her blue flamed pixie dust that shot up into the night sky and could be seen from miles around; her yells pierced through the night as she stood in the waterhole in the jungle.

Lady Kalaya- Woman of the blue flamed pixie dust...the little glowing light in the distance...
