Autumn scurried off to the airport, with her passport in hand. Her plane was leaving in a couple of hours, and she wanted to get there early. When she made her way inside, she opened the doors of Starbucks open and placed her luggage down, taking a few hard breaths.
"Hi, umm... I would like... to order a... caramel... uh... brûlée latte ." She said in-between breaths.
As she slumped down inside a chair, not knowing if anybody was sitting there, a tall, attractive man with dirty blonde hair pushes away his coat and sits down.
"Hii." says Autumn, with a tone of sadness in her voice.
"Uh... hi?" says the man.
"Oh, I'm sorry, are you sitting here? I'll be goin-"
"No, it's okay, I don't like sitting alone."
Autumn hears her name being called and sits up to go get her latte.
When she comes back, she places her coffee down on the table and sighs.
"So, what brings you here?" he asks.
"Im going to Los Angeles for the summer holidays." Autumn says, whilst sipping on her drink.
The man chuckles, and Autumn's heart skips a beat. He was so attractive and adorable at the same time. When he laughed, his dimples were put on display and made his whole face stand out.
"Me too, actually. I guess you must be in college?" he asks.
"Yeah, actually. I also work part-time as a Starbucks cashier surprisingly." She giggles.
They kept on talking and introducing themselves for a while.
"I'm sorry, I didn't ask for your name." he says, "I'm Ashton, Ashton Irwin."
"Autumn Hayes." They shake hands as Autumn stands up and carries a red velvet suitcase with her.
"Where you going?"
"I'm actually really hungry and I've spotted a Burger King."
"I'll walk with you."
When Autumn's plane gets called out, she rushes over to get inside. She scans the place for seats and gets one right beside the window. Jackpot.
A few minutes later, whilst passengers where still filling up the seats, Ashton looks around whilst walking behind a very long line. He sees Autumn's face and sits down next to her. They were sitting next to eachother for another 15 hours. This won't be awkward.
