//3// We're not on a date!

I felt somebody poking my shoulder, and I turned around.

"What?" I groaned.

"They're serving free breakfast downstairs. You might wanna come cause I heard it's pretty good." said Ashton.

"Fine." I got up, put on my robe over my pyjamas and took out a plaid skirt and a long-sleeved black crop top.

I walked over to the bathroom before Ashton stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

"Into the bathroom. To get changed."

"Why?"

"At least I have standards."

"Is that an excuse just to post a picture of your slippers on Instagram?"

"Maybe..."

He chuckled and I walked inside of the bathroom.

After I got ready, I put on my white sandals and stood in front of Ashton.

"I'm ready."

I slowly walked down the steps, trying to not fall over and I saw the bar where they were serving waffles with all kinds of fruit and drinks and syrups. When we sat down, I picked up a menu and my mouth opened wide. There was such good stuff in there, including the pictures. Like, the type of tumblr snacks you always see on your dashboard.

I ordered pancakes with maple syrup and blackberries on the side, and Ashton ordered cinnamon French toast bites with a huge waffle that had ice cream on it. I should've ordered the same thing as him, because when our breakfast had arrived my eyes were instantly glued to his plate.

"Do you want some?" he ask as he saw my mouth open wide staring at his toast bites.

I nodded, and he placed a couple of blocks into my plate.

A couple of minutes later, just about 5 minutes, a woman came over to us and gave us the drinks menu.

"Oh, I do love it when couples come here and have dates. We serve them special breakfast," she said, "you two are adorable."

"Oh uhh we..." I stuttered, "we're not on a date!" I said, laughing awkwardly.

"Yeaaah."

I could feel the awkward tension in the air as Ashton just looked up at me, signalling for me to order.

"Oh, um," I broke the silence and looked up at my menu, "two sherbet milkshakes please."

When I had finished, Ashton began laughing as I had finished all of my food before him.

"What?" I asked.

"You eat like a pig!" he snorted.

I didn't even feel offended. It was another one of his cheeky comments. If anybody else had said that to me, I probably would've cried.

"Hey!" I laughed, nudging his elbow.

"So I have a few cubes left if you want some.." he said, pouring them into my empty plate.

"Oh, fine,"

When we were finished, we split the bill and got up from our seats.

"Where to next?" he asked.
