i wiped my mouth to get rid of the small amount of oily remains of steak surrounding my lips before I pushed away my plate and sighed, hitting my head on the red couch that stood leaning against a corner.

"Im so done." I spoke, clutching onto my bag and opening it up.

Ashton called up a waiter and asked him for the bill. He gently placed some dollar bills inside the small pocket of the leather pouch that was handed to him, before returning it back to the man.

I put on my milky cardigan to comfort me, closing my bag once again.

"Are we gonna go now?" I asked, intrigued to see the exciting place Ashton was making a big deal about.

"Of course." he said, trying to cover up his excitement.

He grabbed me by the hand and led me to outside the restaurant. Once we were there his eyes lit up as if the place he was looking for was right in front of us. I was still questioning wether I should trust him or not.

When we finally stopped, I could now see what he was excited about. There was a show near the fountains that he wanted me to see, it was advertised everywhere. I even think I saw a few brochures and pamphlets being held by some tourists with big cameras.

I stared up at him and my silky cardigan fell back against my bare arms. I could see a couple of men surrounding the fountains and I'm pretty sure they were either drunk or probably high. One of them had half a cigarette in his mouth and i'm pretty sure he wasn't able to know that the other half of his cigarette was getting stomped on by men with beers in their hands.

We began walking towards the fountains more and more until we reached the big crowd surrounding it and we could both see. Some speakers were placed around it to play the music which was now starting,

"Welcome to the Bell Air Fountain Show!" I heard a male voice shout through the speakers. Everybody in the crowds began cheering and clapping as if the show had just finished.

A faint melody of music began playing before it went louder and louder. The water in the fountains began changing colour from pink to yellow to red and so on. It was beautiful. The water began spraying and circling and swirling almost as if it had a mind of its own. Hoops were formed and the water ran through it, going up and down in circles. Then it all fell down, and formed up again.

It was truly beautiful.

The show kept on going, impressing everybody in the audience.

At the very end, the water sprayed everybody. The enormous crowd of people cheered on whilst I stared at Ashton. Children jumped right into the small puddles that the sprinkles of water were creating and laughed. I didn't care that my clothing was getting wet, neither did Ashton care about his. We only cared about being in the moment.

"Thank you for showing me this." I whispered. He pushed some wet strings of hair out of my eyes and inched his face closer to mine.

My hands reached to his back and so did he's before we connected lips again. It wasn't sweet and short, it was long and enjoyable. I could feel pairs of eyeballs going our way as many people clapped loudly but I didn't dare break our connection.

We stood there, kissing in the rain.

For once, I didn't care what people thought. For once, I only cared about being in the moment. This is when true love hit me.
