//11// you guys aren't a thing!
The whole morning went by quickly. I honestly don't know what to feel. Yesterday, basically everything happened. I still need to get my outfit back from the front desk downstairs, because I needed it to be washed out. Pretty much, it smelt like beef and cheese.
The sun shone for the whole day, however I decided to stay in our hotel room. Sighs and mumbles were heard from the other side of the room, where Ashton was sitting.
"Ash, i'm more bored than ever. Plus we have nothing to eat." I moaned and pointed to the mini fridge neighbouring the couch.
"Luke's gonna come home soon, don't worry, A." he reassured me and I nodded.
Once I had looked down at my phone, I began getting a few anonymous texts.
unknown : hey
unknown : you know me
unknown : i miss you
unknown : come on please answer meAs I was about to type a quick reply, the door opened in the middle of my text.
"Housekeeping!" Luke clicked, walking in with a medium sized bag.
"Finally!" I spoke, climbing out of bed and making my way over to the couch.
I took a small peak at the boxes of food that Luke was picking out from the bag. Chinese food, KFC, chips, exactly what I asked for.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom." I spoke, standing up and letting my phone plop onto the armrest of the couch.
"I'll eat everything!" I heard Ashton say behind me.
"I'll beat you to it!" I replied, just before locking the door.
-then she does her business and flushES-
I gaped at my own face in the mirror after washing my hands. Some faint words could be heard from outside, so I pressed my ear against the door.
"It's not a good idea to get in her personal life." my eyebrows furrowed as I heard somebody speak.
"But she's obviously talking to someone else!"
"You guys aren't a thing, plus, look at what she was just about to type back to him!"
I sighed wearily. I think Ashton saw the messages from that unknown person. Well one things for sure, he was just as confused as me.
"'Who are you, creep?'" he read out.
"She doesn't even know who that is!"
I realised that the tap was still running, so I sighed to myself shakily and turned it off, before heading to the door. Opening it, Luke and Ashton were still staring at me, Ashton looking more frazzled than Luke.
"What?" I asked, acting as if I didn't know what was going on. Little did I know, that that was the worst way to act. It makes you seem like you've been hiding something and you didn't want it to be found, but it got found anyway, you know?
"Who is this?" Ashton spoke straight out, earning a small slap on the arm from Luke.
"That's what I wanna know too." I huffed, sitting down on the edge of the bed and placing my hands on each side of my forehead.
"Well-"
"Can we just eat, please?" I asked, annoyed.
"Okay, but I gotta go and get something." Luke began heading to the door, shooting me a look of sympathy. I smiled back, understanding that he wanted to just leave us to alone.
I chewed on my lip so hard that the taste of iron fell on my tongue.
"Autumn?" I shrugged it off, before something came to my mind, "Autumn, pay some attention, please." I looked back at him, wanting to embrace his body so hard. He honestly looked so heartbroken, but I just wanted to get this over with.
"I think I do know who this is."
"What?"
"I know who that is." I placed my hand on my chest and breathed in deeply, "My ex-boyfriend, Perry. Or at least I think it is."
Ashton placed an arm around me as he inched closer to my body. I wrapped my arms around my legs and brought them up to my face, resting my chin against my knees.
"I hate him so bad. He was much worse than my first relationship. See, i'm bi, and my first girlfriend left me because she felt I was uncomfortable with her. I can't lie, I was because I was still questioning, but we're still best friends. Oh, but no. Perry was awful." I choked up my last few words before looking up at Ashton again. He gave me a facial expression that made me want to keep speaking.
"He forced me into going to parties with him. Once, he made me chug down some champagne that was probably drugged. Then he hurt me real bad because I was giving him a bad reputation."
"Hey, now. It's okay."
"No it's not!" I nearly separated myself from his embrace, "It really isn't. He was so messed up and used me for everything. For popularity, for a reputation, for friends. And that's when I knew I couldn't go any longer. But then I met you, Ashton and you fixed it all. Every little bit." I hugged onto him tighter.
He caressed my cheek before leaning in to rest his lips against my temple.
"You're not gonna use me like that, are you?" My voice trembled but I felt more reassured when Ashton began cooing gently, his lips still pressed to my forehead.
"Never." He spoke silently, before making me turn my whole body to him as he joined our lips together.
My hands were at his sides, and his were holding onto my head.
As we pulled apart, Ashton pulled me back into a deep hug and whispered sweet nothings into my ear.
Then the door creaked open, and I could feel eyes on us. But I didn't want to pull apart from Ashton. He comforted me in a way nobody could.
