//1// i'm surprised my eyes didn't pop out of my head
Autumn
After I pulled out my luggage, I began walking down the steps of the plane. Hello, London.
I saw my mom sitting on a couch and ran over to her. I hugged her tight.
"Hi, honey!" she exclaims in excitement.
"Mum! I've missed you so much!" I say, during the hug.
As our bodies part, she tugs at me to sit down.
"So how has it been with you and your sister back at home?" she asks.
"It's been great! Although I would've loved to spend my trip to WhiteWater World with you, too!" I say.
"Then I could've been wearing my cats bikini!" we started laughing and then she shot up from the couch and said, "Okay, so I got you a spot at Bell-Air Hotel and-"
"Mum! That's like one of the best hotels ever!" I yell in excitement.
"Yes, hon, your cab is waiting, by the way. I will surprise-visit you every week so get ready if you have 'visitors'."
I hug her one last time before I sit inside of a taxi that was waiting patiently outside.
"Yo, I hear you going Bell-Air Hotel?" the cab driver says, with a Southern English accent.
"Yeah, my mum got me a-"
"Woah, you Australian?"
"Yeah, my mum moved here for her work and since she didn't want to cause us the trouble to move schools I moved in with me and my older sister."
"Her name?" he asks.
"Um.. Bethanie... Why?"
"Just curious."
In the middle of the ride, the man just says, out of nowhere, "Your mum payed big bucks for this, kid."
"I know, and that's why I love her."
When I get there, I look up at the big, 5 star hotel in front of me.
As I enter the huge building, anxiety rushes through my veins- but the good anxiety. Like the 'I'm so excited for this' anxiety if you can even call it 'anxiety'.
"Hello, my mother signed me up for a room, her name is Georgia Hayes, I'm her daughter, Autumn." I say to the woman behind the registration board.
"Ah, right. Ummm... here you are. You are staying in Room 307, which is on the forth floor," she smiles, handing me my keys.
I smile back and wave as I begin walking up the steps. When I finally get to my room, I open it up as my jaw dropped. It was beautiful.
-Ei few owers leiter -
I heard my door's lock be picked and opened. I assumed it was housekeeping but when I saw the man's face I'm surprised my eyes didn't pop out of my head.
