Autumn's POV

My heart began fluttering just as me and Ashton parted lips. I could feel myself being watched. I felt watched throughout the whole time after Shauna had left, but I didn't care. All I cared about now was being with Ashton in that moment.

"Ashton-" I opened my mouth to speak but felt a something cold being pressed against my nose. Oh yeah, it was the water we ordered. And I also forgot that me and Ashton were literally one centimetre away.

I pulled back my face and laughed a bit. Shauna struck her fist onto the counter and hissed at me angrily.

"I wish you all the best, Shauna Bosner." Ashton spoke in a stern tone before grabbing my chin with his fingers and making me face him. He hooked his lips onto mine again and I could hear Shauna muttering under her breath.

I began thinking of the face Shauna made when she hissed, which made me start laughing.

Okay I'm not a serious kisser, so what?

It's not my fault that if I'm in the middle of a hot make out session and we're about to do something very R-rated I would burst out laughing.

We looked back at Shauna and her tanned face was turning bright pink.

"Well that was quick." I spoke.

"It feels so easy to kiss you." he trailed off, staring at my lips.

"Hey, um, there's a free table over there." the woman behind the counter tapped Ashton on the shoulder and we looked at where she was pointing.

We said our thank-yous before sitting down again at the table.

"I didn't know you felt that way about me." Spoke Ashton, fiddling with his utensils.

"Of course you did!" I playfully hit him in the arm.

"No, I truly didn't. I was dumfounded. But, in that moment... it felt so perfect."

I looked down into my glass of water, swinging the straw around in circles as my cheeks began burning.

"I always fancied you, Ash. I just didnt know what to do because Shauna was trying to ruin everythung."

"Yeah, if im being honest, well have to tell Luke about Shauna sooner or later. Im quite surprised he didn't see through her plan."

"You think luke would be smart enough to know?"

He nodded in response. 

"Luke?" 

"Yeah. What about it?"

"The guy who got me drunk would be able to decode some crazy woman's secret? Highly unlikely." I shook my head before I heard somebody speak up behind me.

"Would you like to order some food now?" A sassy voice spoke.

I turned my head and saw a man with navy blue hair and thick eyebrows standing up behind me. He must not be that tall, because he barely looked the same height as Ashton who, even for me, is tall.

Ashton looked up from the menu he had in his hands and smiled.

"I would like a burger with extra ketchup please." I rolled my eyes as his dimples showed. Oh, that charm of his.

"I just want the steak with some chips." I spoke, fiddling with my straw and scrunching it up.

He scribbled something on a small piece of paper before picking up the menus on our table including the one that I hadn't even touched yet.

"K, you'll get the food soon." he walked off and headed towards the direction of the counter and whispered something in the woman's ear before leaving my eyesight.

"So..."

"Look, I just wanna get is out now. I really like you, Ash. Wether you like me back or not, I don't care. I just want to know that you know my feelings toward you aren't made up, I can feel them right now. I really like you and I just need you to know that. Hell, I'm such a fool for falling for somebody so quickly but I honestly love you." I panted, looking down. I couldn't face him anymore.

"I guess you are a fool. But I must be a bigger fool for liking you back and wanting us to get together."

I looked up at him, as my eyes widened in shock.

"You really do?"

"No I'm just messing with you. I really hate you, curlyhead." I giggled as he picked up a strand of my hair and focused on it completely.

"But seriously, I must be really lucky to be in love with such a precious girl. A girl who's name is Autumn."

"I love you so much and I never knew it." I sighed, staring up at the ceiling.

"Hey," he held my hand which made me look back at him, "Wanna go somewhere special tonight?"

I grinned as a reply and nodded vigorously.

"It's going to be just perfect." he spoke.

"Stop being ambiguous!" I laughed.

"Stop using fancy words, clodpate." I looked up at him in confusion, wondering what it meant but shrug it off anyway, "I had to look at up."

I giggled, staring at him in the eyes, "dummy," I muttered.

yes that happened!!!!! i'm so excitedddddddddd i have the best idea for the next chapter and i might do a double update if it doesn't take too long.
