"Your new home Chashmish!" He sounded enthusiastic as he looked around his own 3 story house with a candid smile.

I watched him. He still hadn't told me the whole truth and I noticed that every time I asked him he seemed to be changing the topic.

I walked round, glimpsing at some of the tall pillars and and looking at the paintings hung on the wall.

As I came across the bedroom side table, I noticed a frame; of me and him.

I picked it up and to my surprise we were with two other people. A girl and a boy.

I never remembered taking this picture; and it looked like we were playing in snow, in Manali.

A combination of sadness and joy hung in my heart; joy that I actually had friends and sadness that something had happened to me and I lost all these memories.

Maybe I was too unstable to know the complete truth.

I still stared at the frame while Bunny brought in all my suitcases. When did I pack them?

He noticed me still with the frame sub consciously in my hand.

"Oh..er... that's Avi - the drunkard. And maybe you remember Aditi, she...." his voice slinked down to almost a growl as he noticed my eyes dropping tears and staring at the floor.

He lowered his head to look at me.

"Naina...."

I couldn't control my emotions anymore, I just felt like crying. Don't know why, what for. I just did.

"Why can't I remember anything Bunny?" I asked, my voice sounded like glass stuck together with cello tape.

"This is why I don't want to tell you Naina." He said in a whisper as he wiped the tears off my cheeks gently and we embraced in a hug.

"Please..." I longed.

He pulled out of the hug and gently massaged my shoulders.

"Naina, what I tell you now, is completely your choice to know. I don't want to hide anything from you and you have every right to know what happened."

I smiled.

"A year ago, you were traveling to New York to earn your dream job."

Ahh, that's where the suitcases played the role in.

"Before that we lived together, and.... we met on a trek - to Manali." He walked slowly to the frame.

"And these were our friends. We met again at Aditi's wedding and confessed our love."

This all sounded too dramatic to believe.

"Oh yes and... you were too stubborn to give up on your clinic, so I proposed to you and....."

"And......."

"We're married."

I felt my knees going weak.

"Hey hey hey, you wanted to know," he said quickly, noticing my mouth drop.

"Where's my family?"

He frowned.

"I said, WHERE IS MY FAMILY?"
I felt my voice trying to rise like a tornado, but was barely a shout.
