I may have lost my memories but my knowledge of this ancient race seems fully intact. In the world of vampires blood plays a huge role. The strongest bloodline rules over the weak. The queen here is from the most ancient bloodline there is. Her's is the first bloodline know as the bloodclan dynasty.

"Speak queen and ask me what you will. I grow tired of these games and I am not your child." My response was more fearful than I wanted it to sound. Her response was a beautiful chuckle."Why so blunt my child? Don't you know you can't go anywhere without my say so? Do you think you could so easily continue on your journey and not pay my tole? Dear me you must know full and well that none of that is going to happen at the moment. As for you not being my child all vampires are my children. However it is especially so with you because while drinking your blood I took to much and you were dieing. My husband did not like this as you can imagine and he tried to get someone to replace your loss of blood but no one was there out would be there fast enough. So I gave you my blood. Even as we speak my blood is slowly killing the human side of you and feeding on the human cells."

I can't believe what I'm hearing. She can't be serious...right?

"Oh I am very very serious."

I could hear the smile on her face as she could clearly either see or sense the surprise on my face from her reading my mind.

"As part of my bloodline you have my entire families power at your disposal. My husband won't be king much longer and even as queen I can't hold this place together by myself. I need a successor. Or rather I need a new husband. You see I am aware of a plot on my husband's life that can't be stopped and it will come into effect very soon. I need to know now and choose wisely hero. Will you be my king?"

I don't know what happened but I smelled something strange and then I knew no more....

Some recent turn of events huh? Guys what's Charlie best option? Should he bide his time as king? Should he try and resist the calm and collected vampire queen? Decisions decisions decisions.
