Hi!
So before I begin, I'd like to clarify a few things:

While writing this, I was imagining the new versions of the characters, as in the new cast not the old one, though it doesn't really matter. However, Vulcan has not been destroyed and several events that occurred during the Original Series have happened in this story (for instance, Spock went to Vulcan to get married). Just think of Spock and Kirk in their, like, mid-twenties and McCoy in his late-twenties-early-thirties, and that's basically how I was imagining them while I was writing this story.

Also, I am not sure how everything in Star Trek works, so I sort of bent the rules to work for this story. Please don't get all technical on me, but I would love feedback.
