Chapter 12/Epilogue: Captain

    "Do you have any objections?"

    Turning around to face the crew of the ENTERPRISE, Kirk nodded at her encouragingly. Turning around once more, Rev set her jaw.

    "No, sir. Thank you, sir."

    "Then Commander Zhi'Rev, it is our honor to promote you to Captain of the USS VALIANT."

    The new VALIANT was a beautiful ship. It was in the same league as the ENTERPRISE, having been rebuilt from the old model, and Rev had been given a two-year-long mission to explore the outer reaches of the galaxy. Rev entered the bridge after briefly examining the ship, and her bridge crew immediately stopped what they were doing to face their new Captain. Rev had signed her divorce papers, she'd said goodbye to the ENTERPRISE crew, she'd got the mutinous Cadet kicked out of Starfleet. Everything was good. Rev looked around, before descending the steps and sitting in her chair.

    "Alright, Lieutenant Commander Kruse, let's see what the VALIANT can do."
