Chapter five-William *Edited*

*Roman's Point of View*

We just sat in the room.

"Can you please explain to me why you compelled me to forget about you guys?" I ask.

"For your safety. Our father was chasing us," Elijah says.

"So you were concerned," I say.

"Yes," he says.

"I took your father down once. I can do it again," I say. Today is William's anniversary.

"What's wrong?" William asks. William?

"William? Is that you?" Finn asks.

"Mother? Father?" William asks.

"How? We saw Esther rip your heart out," I say.

"A witch brought me back," he says.

"Like I can reach out and hug you," I say, and he hugs me.

"Demonstration that I'm back?" he asks, and I nod.

"Where is Aunt Katerina?" he asks. We go in my car. I drive us to the Boarding House.

"Salvatores, where's my sister?" I ask.

"Right here, sister," Katerina says.

"Kat, guess who's back," I say.

"Who?" she asks.

"William Mikaelson, my son," I say.

"Will?" she asks.

"I'm back," William says.

"How?" she asks.

"I asked him the same thing," I say.

"You know the witch named Gloria?" he asks.

"I do," I say.

"She brought me back," he says.

"Remind me to thank her," I say, and we go back to the Mikaelson house.

"What the heck happened?" I ask as a piece of a picket fence is thrown through the window. We duck.

"Missed me," William says.

"William Petrova Mikaelson!" a person yells. It's Father.

"Father?" I ask.

"How in the world are you here?" I ask.

"I have my ways," he says, smirking.

"Who brought you back!" I yelled, walking out of the house to face him.

"A friend of yours, Bonnie Bennett," he says.

"We're not friends at the moment," I say.

"She got her hands on a necklace that I gave you," he says.

"Oh, that necklace," I say. I run to the Boarding House and spot Bonnie. I slam her into a wall.

"What was that for?" she groans.

"For bringing back my father," I growl.

"He was your father?" she smirks. I slam her into the wall then throw her out a window.

"You knew very well he was," I speak.

"Why are you doing this?" she queries.

"You brought back a freaking hunter! A VAMPIRE hunter!" I shout.

"Sorry," she voices.

"I know fake sorry's when I hear them, Bonnie," I answer. I laugh at her foolishness.

"Why are you laughing?" she suggests.

"You used to be a powerful witch, then Kol happened. He was a witch in his family," I tell.

"This matters to me how?" she urges.

"Bonnie, you need to protect Damon, Stefan, Elena, and Caroline from Mikael," I suppose.

"Who's that?" she requires.

"I'll explain on a different day," I reply. How am I going to break this to my best friend, Rosalinda? She hated William, and he's back. Those two could never be at a family gathering together because one would always start the fight, and then we'd separate them, but they'd find a way to insult each other without us knowing.
