Jay was confused. All of a sudden his parents had announced that they were going to be moving to a darker and even more remote place than they already lived in. But that wasn't what was troubling his damaged mind. No. His mum had added at the end of the conversation that they were going to be living with other people. Well if you could even call them people. Who? Why? Where? Questions were spinning around his head like a hurricane of words and raised voices until he couldn't take it anymore.
"Whoarewestayingwith? Whyarewedoingthisallofasudden?"
(For those of you can't read wattpad's speedy talk he said 'Who are we staying with? Why are we doing this all of a sudden?)
Harley crouched down and placed a hand on his shoulder,
"Just wait Jay. We'll be there
soon and all of these questions will be answered. Don't cha worry!" Jay sighed and let his shoulders slouch down in disappointment. He didn't understand. Why not tell him now if he was just going to find out in a few minutes later anyw... He was knocked from his thoughts when a large black wooden house came into his line of vision and his mouth fell open in a gape. A high pitched laugh rang around the truck and Jay turned his head to look at his dad.
"It's quite something isn't it Jay? Just wait till you see who's inside!"
Excitement bubbled up inside his chest and Jay began eagerly bouncing up and down in his seat.

As soon as the vehicle screeched to a stop the door was open and the young villain was bounding up to the door. He was knocking furiously on the hard wood when the Joker and Harley caught up to him. Slowly the door swung open to reveal...
" AUNTY IVY!!!!!" The boy threw himself into the green woman's arms and she laughed as she wrapped them around his lithe form.
" Heya there Jay! How are you!"
A throat was cleared further down the hall.
"I didn't realise that I was a wall."
Jay whipped his head around...
"AUNTY SELINA!"
Catwoman laughed.
"Hey kitten! How are you?"
"I'm good! Great actually! Last night Daddy let me torture and kill someone all by my self!"
Ivy smiled,
"That's great babe! How did you you do it!?"
Jay let out a high pitches cackle.
"I made sure that every inch of his wretched body was covered in my mark!"

"That sounds great kid. But we need to talk to your parents so you should go and play upstairs for a bit." A new voice came from the doorway. There stood Count Vertigo with a small device in his hands. Jay nodded and jumped out of Ivy's arms. He ran and hugged his Mum and Dad and then bounded up the stairs like a Duracell Bunny.
"Well then," the count began,"We have much to discuss."

Jay had not however gone upstairs to wait. Of course he wasn't going to wait and not know what was going on! He pulled a screw driver from his belt and slowly started pulling the screws from the corners of the air vent.

A few minutes later Jay had his ear pressed against another vent and was listening intently into the adults conversation.
"We have to make this big."
"I know that but what can we do that would grab the whole justice league's attention?"
"Don't forget about the baby justice league. I heard that Sportsmaster's daughter went and joined them as Greenies sidekick!"
Enough gossip we need a plan! If were not ready The Light will no longer have need for us!"
