I have returned! It's been awhile and I would just like to say one thing...

I'm so sorry I've just always wanted to say that! Anyways here we go! I know none  of you read this anyway!

Once upon a time, Mount Justice was a place filled with joy, teens running around, playing, pranking, laughing. Now, however, it felt as though as soon as you entered you were being slowly suffocated by the sorrow and dread that clogged the air. That was exactly how Artemis felt as she sat, motionless, on her bed. She had her head tucked into her knees with tears running down her face in a silent stream. Her nails were bitten down to stubbs and she was drowning in her mind.

He's going to die...

No... No he won't... he can't

But he is and it's all your fault

No it's not ... i ... no....

If you hadn't gone after Joker you could have been there
Saved him....

But.... I ... I ...

Yes...

It's all my fault...

"You bitch! You should be in there! Not him! You ... you deserve it..."
She whimpered,
More tears now, followed by a choked sob that seemed to echo around the room in deafening note of self blame.
The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth when her teeth pierced her bottom lip, as it trickled down her chin it mixed with her tears. She was battling with herself in her head. She was a superhero, she was supposed to be strong and unbreakable. How could one 13 year old boy going into a coma send her into a complete mental and emotional breakdown? More blood fell down her chin as she pushed her teeth in deeper, widening the wound and losing her self in the sound in her mind.

Wally West felt....

shattered....

numb....

broken......

he felt like all the light had been ripped forcefully from his life and he was being left to stumble blindly in the dark, the leering faces of his demons, laughing, taunting him till he begged them to end it all. To just...

end it

end him....

The last time he had felt like this was when his Dad had beat him. Back when he was small and afraid. It shocked him how much he felt like the tiny, cowering child he had been. He had never cried. Not since the first time. He had made a promise to himself that he would never ever cry. He would be strong and brave like The Flash and all the other superheroes out there.
