"We're leaving."
"What do you mean 'we're leaving'?" I asked my mom as she walked up the stairs.
"I mean we're leaving. We'll come back but I'm tired of this! You've been bullied the past six years because of your eating disorder. I don't like seeing you like this Sierra, you shouldn't be being treated this way and the school isn't doing anything."
She walked into my room and started rummaging through my closet to find my suitcase, then looked under my bed, still not finding it.
"Where the hell is your suitcase Sierra?" She asked, still looking around my room.
"It's in the basement with the rest of them. Where are we going to go?"
"Uh you pick." She responded walking downstairs, as I followed behind her.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you pick. Is it that hard to understand?" She said with sarcasm in her voice.
I stood there as she walked downstairs.
She's letting me choose? Should I pick somewhere where we have family or somewhere we've never gone? What about LA? Or New York?
As I was deciding on where to go, mom came back upstairs with her and my suitcase in hand. She went back upstairs and into my room.
"Did you pick somewhere?"
"Um I was thinking LA or New York but we don't have to."
Btw she lives in New Jersey lol
"Wherever you want to go. I don't care, just no where cold, I'm tired of this whether." She said making me laugh.
"LA I guess. Do you need any help?"
"Yeah. You pack your stuff and I'll get mine packed."
Thought I would clear this up real fast: right now she's on winter break and they'll be leaving for about a year. And also her sister and dad will be staying it the house while her and her mom are gone lmao
She left with her bag, going into her room to pack. I started packing, grabbing t-shirts, jeans, dresses, shoes, etc.
I walked into my bathroom grabbing some necessities. My toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, you know, the basics.
When I got back into my room I texted my friends, wanting to explain.
