When we got home it was late and I was ready to go to bed. My dad and Abigail helped me and my mom with all our bags.
I got inside and the smell of pine and mint filled the house. The Christmas tree was set up and there was presents under the tree.
It's November and they already have the Christmas decorations up. My family is so early to set up for Christmas it's amazing. They always put the things up exactly three days after thanksgiving, it's like a tradition.
Anyway, Abigail helped me bring my stuff to my room and it still looked the same. Not a single thing was different. Except for the emptiness in the closet and bathroom.
Abigail explained to me that she was here at the house until January fifth because she had to go back to college in Nevada. Which is crazy because for normal school we only get two weeks out of school and she gets over a month.
Later she left my room and told me to go to bed. It was currently 10:48 and I needed sleep. I was planning on surprising Austin and Melissa the next day so I really needed to get some sleep if I wanted to wake up early enough.

9:14 a.m
I woke up to the sound of birds singing their morning songs outside and the smell of pancakes coming from downstairs. I pulled the blanket off of me and swung my legs over the side of the bed.
I quickly checked my phone then grabbed a hoodie and walked downstairs.
Mom and dad were making breakfast together and Abigail was on her phone in the living room. I sat next to her and got out my phone from my hoodie pocket.
I turned it on and clicked on the Snapchat app. I watched some people's stories then went onto Instagram.
A bunch of my friends had commented things on my recent post, which was the airplane picture, but I just ignored them, wanting to surprise everyone.
I shut off my phone and my dad yelled at us from the kitchen to come eat. So Abigail and I got up and went to the kitchen grabbing a plate and some food.
I sat down and ate with my family and we made small talk.
After I finished I picked up my plate and brought it to the sink and rinsed it off. Abigail stood next to me and handed me the other dishes we had all used.
"Hey I need to tell you something"
"Okay. What is it?"
"Well um" she began to hesitate "you know what it's nothing" she smiled.
"Um okay then. But you can tell me anything I hope you know that abs. Okay?"
"Yeah. It's just not important" she said focusing back on the dishes that were in the sink.
Something's up I just know it. I can tell when she's lying, it's like a specialty of mine. I can tell when a person is lying or if they are sad with the slightest change of tone in their voice.
"Hey I'm going to get ready. Can you finish these up?"
"Yeah of course" she smile and I left.
I went up stairs and went to my bathroom starting a shower. I stripped down and got in, the warm water hitting my cold body.
After about twenty minutes I got out wrapping a towel around my body and walking out to my room.
I grabbed an outfit from my suitcase since I hadn't put anything back in my closet yet.
I pulled out a thrasher hoodie and a pair of light blue jeans and some adidas superstars. A casual look for the day. I grabbed my phone and keys then headed downstairs telling my family bye and walking out the door to the car.

Ok guys this is pretty much a filler and I promise Ethan will get into this soon skxkscd but I really wanted to say that chapters are going to be updated slowly bc of school and I have really bad writers block atm. So please keep reading and also I'm working on some other stories that I will be publishing soon :)
