~Kelli's P.O.V~
I sorta regretted saying what I said to Jonathan, but I was angry. I rushed into my first class and sat in the back. Everyone piled in and then Rodney came. She sat next to me.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I decided to give Jonathan a chance and date him. That was a huge mistake," I said, wiping tears on my sleeve.
"What happened? Do I have to beat the shit out of him?!" She half-shouted, furiously.
"He didn't go anything. His friends tried to beat me up," I said. I saw her eyes widen.
"I'll be back!" she shouted, storming out of the class.
*After class*
I walked out of the class to find Rodney and the kids who tried to beat me up being led to the Principal's office by a security guard. Well, looks like I won't be seeing Rodney for a little while.
I could care less about my next class. I had it with Jonathan. I sat in the back. When Jonathan came in, he saw me and sat next to me. I sighed but just stayed.
"Hey, Kelli. Look. I'm sorry about my friends. I didn't know word would get out that fast and I didn't think they'd try to hurt you. I'm extremely sorry," he explained.
"Look, Jonathan. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you. I was just nervous and pissed. It wasn't your fault. Don't apologize." He nodded.
"I understand," he said with a smirk. He stood up and hugged me. The teacher walked in and told everyone to sit down.
During class, Jonathan kept looking over at me and smiled. Every once in a while, he'd whisper over to me.
