I was still trying to figure out who was spreading the rumors. I thought of numerous people. Could it be Jonathan? No, it can't. He's not like any other guys, but anyone could betray anyone. I didn't wanna blame Jonathan, so I pulled away from the subject.

The day didn't really go by fast. Class went on, I barely focused. I could only think about the rumors. Every time I tried to veer from the subject, it was brought up. Maybe I should just switch schools, move to Albuquerque and change my name and identity. No one would notice. Well, maybe Rodney.

Band practice went by surprisingly fast. I did my normal routine. I put away my instrument and drove home. Jonathan didn't  try to find me. I could care less. I could care less for anything.

I drove home and lay in my bed and sobbed myself to sleep. What a shitty day.

I woke up later that evening. Not too late. It was only about 5:30. I didn't wanna do anything. I just wanted to lay there. Lay there until life was done with. Just stay and dwell in pure laziness. The doorbell rung. I groaned and got up to go answer it. Then, I realized it was Friday. Rodney was supposed to come over. And Jonathan and I had a date. I stopped at my bedroom door.

I was fucked.
