Chapter 6: The Tenkai Kid

Toxsa's Pov

"We so had our bots handed to us in that last battle. Man if Beag hadn't been there." I said. Right now we were sitting on Mr White's couches talking about what had happened. "We'd be tenkai toast." Ceylan said. 

"Yeah, I haven't been beaten that bad since first grade kickball, what were we thinking." Chooki said, who was sitting next to me. Guren was sitting next to Ceylan and Eliza was standing up. 

"Are you kidding me, I was there too. I'm the one that blocked half the hits." Eliza said. "We'll just have to do better. Why don't we think of this as a wake up call." Guren said. "Next time, let's not answer it." Chooki said. 

"You know, there is a way for you guys to get stronger." Eliza said. "Eliza, we don't want to hear what you got to say. It's not like you want to be apart of our team. Heck, I bet you don't want to even help save the world." Ceylan said. 

"Okay, are you kidding. You think that I don't want to help this world. I was the one who was on Quarton, protecting it from Villius and his corrupted army before you guys busted in. If it weren't for me, this world would most likely be destroyed. Okay. I've helped you guys out of tricky situations. So, if you are saying that I'm not helping and I don't want to help save this world then you must be thinking of someone else because I've almost died waiting for you guys to come and help. And I'm pretty sure that you were the one who wanted to quit before." Eliza said and she was about to leave until Mr White stopped her. 

"My my, what gloomy faces. That's understandable. But now, we must move forward for the tree to grow, the roots must be watered." Mr White said making us all confused again, well, not all of us. Eliza just stood there, leaning against a wall not amused that she can't leave. 

"Say what?" I asked. "Don't get it." Ceylan said. "Sorry Mr White, your tree jokes aren't just funny today." Chooki said. "Sounds like you know something we don't." Guren said. "Something is coming. Something big." Mr White said. 

"Something big?" We asked at the same time. Mr White got us all to follow him, and I mean all of us including Eliza, and he went down to near the door to the portal was. "Is this another warning about trees, or tea, or whatever? Cause we've already heard that one." Ceylan questioned. 

"Expectation is one thing, being prepared is entirely different." Mr White said. "You have anything that'll teach us how?" Guren asked. "Beyond this door lies the first step to your journey. Ready." Mr White said as he opened the door. 

"I know where this is going." Eliza said. "What is this place?" Guren asked. "My storage room. You see these things. I need you boys to carry all these things upstairs, to the shop." Mr White said. "I'm here too." Eliza said. 

"Huh." We all said. "Or do you prefer being clobbered by Villius. Just kidding." Mr White said. We each grabbed something and started carrying it up the stairs, with Eliza in front with about four boxes stacked and a medium sized tiki head on the top. 

I was behind her with two boxes, Chooki behind me with two boxes, Ceylan behind him with a statue or something and Guren behind him with a huge tiki head. "How many loads is this?" I asked. "And I thought weight training was a drag." Chooki said. 

"Bet he's going to make us set all this up on Quarton for a garage sale." Ceylan said. "No, it's some kind of training. Conditioning or endurance or something." Guren said. "Oh stop complaining wimps. This is nothing. And I thought you were the all so powerful tenkai knights." Eliza said. 

"I have no idea how you are holding all of those things." Ceylan said. "I wasn't talking to you." Eliza said as she sped up her walking. Once we were done we all sat down for a bit. "The road is long with each step brings you closer to your destination." Mr White said.
