Chapter 9: Valley of Secrets

Tributon's Pov

The tenkai knights and I were in a sticky situation. Slyger and his goon bots, or the corrupted, were on a cliff higher than what we were on. "So tenkai knights. We all came here looking for a dragon cube but instead all we found was each other. How very disappointing." Slyger said.

"Please do not refer to me as the same as these idiots." Midnetias said. "Your humour is on point today." I said. "At least I'll have the consolation of sending you to your doom. Look behind you." Slyger said. We looked and saw a cliff to our doom.

"Uh, he's got a point. Retreat's not really a viable option." Valorn said. "It's like a squeeze-play. We're totally cornered." Lydendor said. "Well, when you're cornered there's only one thing to do. Fight your way out." Bravenwolf said.

"Nope. I'm going to jump off this cliff myself." Midnetias said as she backed towards the cliff before Lydendor dragged her back. "You can try. Attack." Slyger announced. "Here they come." Bravenwolf said.

"Okay, I'm tired of being the odd man out. It's my time to level up. Tenkai titan mode, go." Valorn said as he ran into the battle. We got shot out. Valorn ran away from the shots. "Titan mode, come in titan mode." Valorn said as he fell over.

Which caused him to go closer to the edge. To the point where he was gonna fall off. "Idiot." Midnetias said. "Uh, big drop, big drop." Valorn said as he waved his arms around. "We've got you Valorn." A corekai soldier said.

"Ah this is so humiliating. Every upgrade ever released, I've been first in line. It's not fair." Valorn said. Then some blaster jets shot at Valorn and the two corekai soldiers. "No, Valorn." Beag said and jumped off the cliff.

He grabbed Valorn and pushed him towards the cliff. "Woah, Beag that was..." Valorn said. "And now those three are falling." Midnetias said. We went towards the cliff and saw that Beag was hanging onto his spear to keep him and his men from falling.

"Beag, hang on!" Valorn exclaimed. "Don't let go." Bravenwolf said. "By Lydendor's wings. I will do as you have commanded for as long as I can." Beag said. "What's so special about Lydendor?" Midnetias questioned. We all ignored her.

"We got to get down there." I said. "It's gonna take teamwork." Bravenwolf said. "Bravenwolf. You need to find the dragon cube before Slyger gets it. Don't worry about us. It has been an honour to battle by your side." Beag said.

"And this is where idiotic decisions come in." Midnetias said. I watched as Slyger's sky griffins went behind Beag. "I hate long goodbyes. So, let's not have one. Good bye." Slyger said. The sky griffins shot at Beag and after the blast of beam, we couldn't see Beag.

"Farewell knights of tenkai." Beag said as he fell down the hole. "Beag. No!" Bravenwolf exclaimed. "And he's dead." Midnetias said. "Heartless." I said. She just shrugged. "But honestly, don't you guys kind of need him?" Midnetias said.

"Could you just shut up for one second." Valorn said. "No." Midnetias said. "Then leave." I said. "Fine. I'll leave, but don't expect any more help from me." Midnetias said as she disappeared. We looked down the edge of the cliff. "He's, gone." Bravenwolf said.

"Oh, how the not so mighty have fallen. Get it. Fallen. Hahahahahaha. And now knights, get ready to join your friends." Slyger said. We all looked at Slyger. "Slyger, you are so gonna regret that." Bravenwolf said. "Yeah, party's over toaster face." I said.

"We're gonna wipe your hard drive." Valorn said. "And then tenkai your face in." Lydendor said. "Ready guys, it's payback time." Bravenwolf said. "Commencing robofusion sequence. Tributon robofusion engage." AI said. I assumed the others got the same thing too.
