Another Narrow World

Mahiru grabbed Kuro and ran out of the house. "You've been so laazzzyy. After the fight with Tsubaki", Mahiru noticed as he puts Kuro inside his bag. "I'm dead tired. What a pain", Kuro yawned. "Kuro, we'll visit Misono and Licht", Mahiru informed while they walked at the streets. "Bastard-chan and Piano-freak is at the hospital? ", Kuro yawned again.

Hospital

Lily, Hyde (former lawless), Licht, Sendagaya, and Hugh are having conversation at Misono's room.

Mahiru entered and overheard them talking. "My previous Eve, I mean... a very old Eve of mine was the most beautiful and brave woman I've ever known", Hyde boasted. "My old Eve, well he's a body builder and was really strong", Hugh bragged. "I killed my last Eve", Hyde sighed. They were all scattered inside the room. "Hello", Mahiru broke the tension. "Mahiru! I told you not to come", Misono said in embarassment. Mahiru joined the group and let Kuro out of the bag. He refused to take his human form. "What were you guys talking about?", Mahiru asked as he sits beside Sendagaya. "They were talking about their previous Eves", Sendagaya answered. "Oh, I missed a really important topic. By the way, what was yours looks like?", Mahiru asked Kuro. He just rolled at the couch and ignored what Mahiru said. "Just let it be", Hyde broke the silence and opened a game for the to play. As usual, Kuro didnt join their quessing games.

After Visiting
Streets

Mahiru stood up at the same place where he picked Kuro. "Kuro, this is where we met", Mahiru reminded standing in front of the aisle facing a fountain. Kuro went out of the bag and started walking away. "Wait for me", Mahiru called out.

I always wished that someone would really take care of you.

2 Years Ago...

"Nishiki Shina, 16 years old, nice to meet you", a first year student with black hair and amber eyes bowed in front of the class.

She sat down beside the window and felt relieved that she didnt pass out from introducing herself. "Hello, Nishiki-san", a girl in brown hair and golden eyes smiled at her. "Hi, if I remember... Fumio-san?", Shina asked. The girl nodded. "It's Kauro. Call me Kauro", Fumio gave another bright smile. "Then... you can call me Shina", Shina smiled back at her.

We have different worlds.

We are different.

Sleepy Ash (but he wasnt named with anything yet but Sloth) wanders around the street in his human form. He was ordered by C3 to hunt someone and bring him dead or alive at the laboratory. He waited at the dark alleys where the target was and strangled him to death. "What a pain that I need to do this", Sleepy Ash yawned and carried the corpse.

Days, Week, and Months passed and it's already the 4th month of the school year. Shina gained a lot of friends and is even popular at their school.

School Class 1-1

"Phew... you did it", Kauro patted her friend's back as they read the announcement.  "Shina's the first??!", one of her friends. "I'm really glad you're my friend", Reiko, another friend of hers chuckled. "Then, shall we go have Karaoke later?!", Kauro asked. "I... I got some things to do", Shina raised her hands. "Well, I guess smart guys like you are always busy", Kauro sighed and hust walked away.

Underground Bar

"Oh, my favorite bunny girl is here", a middle aged man in suit opened his arms as Shina approached the group of men and women. "Shina, why dont you offer my clients some drinks", Akio, the middle aged man had a sly smile. Surrounding the table would be syndicates having transactions on drugs. Shina poured drinks for the other party. "Your bunny girl is still in her uniform, arent we going to have violations if they see her here?", the boss of the other party asked. "Mr. Hideki, let's just get down to business", Akio slammed the table. It startled them and cleared their throat.

The deal was closed. After having the payments done, Akio and Shina are the only ones left. "Shina, any boys you met at school?", Akio asked drinking alcohol. "None", Shina answered while fixing the table. Akio grabbed on her waste. "Just make sure, I will hunt those boys down and stick cigarettes on their while body if they get too cozy with you", Akio threatened. Shina gently removed Akio's grip on her.

"What a pain", Shina said in a soft voice. Akio heard it and grabbed her wrist. He slapped her hard making a red mark on her cheeks. "Never say that again!!!", Akio roared.

At C3

"Good work, Sloth. Then, you can get the payment at the office", the leader of the C3 informed.

Sleepy Ash left the building and walked around the street. He's got nowhere to go and no one to run.

Streets.

He heard someone crying behind him. Humans are really weak creatures. Another sob. And another. And another. The streetlights were blinking. Sleepy Ash felt a presence and looked around. No one is there except the both of them. "Oy", he turned back to see a blacked haired lady with her teary ears. "Go away from here", Sleepy Ash informed. "This is my way heading home", Shina wiped her tears.

A Sub-class attacked Sleepy Ash but he was able to evade. "Claws? And... Fangs?", Shina gulped. She saw a metal bar on the other sides and picked it up. "Mr. Blue jacket.... this guy is insane", Shina looked at Sleepy Ash. "What a pain", Sleepy Ash sighed and grabbed on Shina's blouse. He threw her at the side where she lost conciousness.

The Next Day

Shina woke up with the sound of the water from the fountain.

"Why am I here?!", she panicked and got her things. She looked back and wondered what happened that night.
