Nightmare In a Daydream

Nathan's POV

" Where are you going? " Lucy asked me.

" To my apartment." I answered.

" I want to come with you." she said stubbornly.

" I have classes today." I said.

" I don't care." Urghh... This girl!!!

" But I have to. Look Nick is also going. " I said.

" OK, go. I will have a date with someone else. " She said. What?!

" What!?" I glared at her.

" You never asked me properly and that's why we are still not couple. So, I can go and date other guys around." She is testing my patience.

" OK. I'll come in the afternoon and we are going on a date. Get ready in time." She smiled and jumped on me.

" You are the best boyfriend ever.." She kissed on my forehead. I smiled at the crazy girl who is suppose to be my girlfriend.

" Go inside now, everyone must be waiting for you." I said to her.

" I wanna hold you like this. You are so cute."she said.

" Well, do you want your boyfriend fail in coming exams?" I asked her.

" You won't. " She said confidently.

" How do you know that?" I asked her.

" First of all you are very intelligent." She said.

" It won't work if I don't do my studies properly. " I said.

" Secondly, I will break up with you if you fail." She smirked. This girl is crazy.

" Challenging me, babe?" I asked her.

" Why not? " She asked me.

" Very bad, babe. Nathan never loses any bet." I said.

" Let's try. If you win you will have a wish. If I win I will have one. Deal?" She asked me.

" Deal. Now go. You are getting late." She went inside giving a kiss on my cheek. Crazy girl. I chuckled.

In the afternoon...

" Where are you going to take me? " Lucy asked me. I smiled.

" Don't do that. Talk to me. I don't like when you remain silence." She glared at me.

" It's secret, babe." I said smilingly.

" You know I don't have any patience. So, please tell me." I said.

" No, I can't. Sorry, babe." I said.

Suddenly my phone rang.

" Hello, Austin?" I said.

" Hello, sir. There is a problem." He said.

" What is that?" I asked him.

" Sir, Jessica Francis is following Nickolas Christos and Elaina Stewart." he said.

" Keep your eyes on them, I am coming. Call Eric if you need help." I said. 

" OK sir." He said and I hung up.

Lucy was watching me curiously.

" What happened? " She asked me.

" I will explain you later. Now let's go." I hold her hand and pulled her with me.

" Where are we going? " She asked me.

" Babe, please. Let's go." I said.

" Tell me." She said and I sighed.

" OK, keep walking don't stop." I said. We are going to the place where Austin told me they were.

" Tell me " she said.

" There is a girl called Jessica Francis who is after Nick and now she is following them where they have gone for a date. Ummm..actually... " I said.

" Yes,Nathan. Actually? " I asked him

" He is going to propose her today." He said and my eyes open wide.

" What?!!" I asked him.

" Yes. Don't stop. Jessica is a bad news, she will harm them. Let's-" I was saying but she cut me.

" Wait what name did you said? " She asked me.

" Jessica Francis " I said.

" Is she the same Jessica? " She asked me.

" Which one?" I said.

" Let's go first I will tell you later. If it's her then she will hurt my brother and best friend. " she started to run and I followed her.

We entered the lake area from the backside. I called to Nick to inform him.

" Nick?" I said as soon as he picked up the call.

" Nat, it's bad timing." He said.

" Dude Jessica is there. She is following two of you, Austin told me."I said.

" What? I will kill her." He said.

" Where is Elaina, don't leave her alone. " I said..

He didn't reply we entered the area and I got frozen that I seen.
Jessica pushed Elaina on the water and she was going down and down. Suddenly someone jumped into the water. It was Nick. I was holding Lucy who was crying loudly.

" Nathan, Catch that bi*ch. She is running away. " Lucy said. I called Eric and told him to catch her.

I saw Nick coming up with Elaina in his arm who was so pale. We immediately took her to the hospital. She was not responding. Nick was holding her tightly. Didn't even blink. He was so much guilty for that. I can see this.
