"I thought so..."

"You thought what Mrs. Davis?" Coby smiled heavenly at me, waiting for an answer.

"My name is Rosa, mister" I cheeked

"And it'll be Mrs. Davis one day..." Coby came up to me and kissed me. "Oh really ?" I chuckled. "Yes, matter of fact..." Coby bent down on one knee and reached into his sweatpants pocket. It was a small jet black box in his hand and immediately I tense up. "Oh my...." my heart rate is off the charts.

"Coby stop messing around..."

"Look Rosa, I'm not" he said smiling and taking my left hand. Coby revealed a diamond crusted ring and look me straight in the eyes. It's been 6 months we've been together I can't accept this. "Rosa, as the good friend and woman you have been. The most caring and loving girlfriend that I've ever had. Will you—"

"Coby stop..."

"Will you take this ring..."

"Coby!" I started hyperventilating and nearly losing my mind. By all means being married is what I wanted but not this early. He's offered me to live with him , the key to his house. Of course I denied but I don't want to jump—

"...Rosa...please say something " Coby looked at me with pleading eyes. My heart jumped and I started to panic....no ...I can't. I'll have to tell him No.

"Yes?" I smiled lightly.

"Yes?!" Coby slip the ring on my finger and stood up off his knee to kiss me again.

After the big proposal Coby invited me to a " "small" party his friend was throwing in downtown LA. I dressed in a casual pink t -shirt and some light jeans.

"You wearing that?" Coby snorted. I look at him in shock and rolled my eyes. "I didn't think it would really matter, it is a small party" I exaggerated the word small to let him know that there was no reason to get dressy. My butt plops on the bed and I began to take off my heels and undress myself out my casual outfit.

Coby stares and smirks watching me "Oh my...babe no! I was just playing" he chuckled and I just ignore him and go back into the closet digging through my suitcase.

"Rosa..." he laughs and follows me into the closet picking me up off the ground. "No–Co....Coby stop it!" I whine out when he picks me up over his shoulder. He puts me down into the bed and hovers me "don't change"

"It's too late, you already made me feel insecure about wearing it now" I put my arms around his neck and pout, not long after I receive a passionate kiss from his lips. "Don't babe" he pushes himself against me and I let out a groan. I stop him from kissing me and look at him with amusement.

"Right now?" I giggled

"If you want to" Coby parted his lip and leaned for another kiss, he was so gentle when handling me and I like it...sincerely. Coby propped my waist up and placing a small pillow underneath me where my lower back was. I looked at him confused but his serious facial expression didn't change it just became more intense as he stared me into my eyes. I shivered and saw chills bumps scatter all over my body. The intensity was unexpected and almost out of this world, I groaned waiting for him.

"We're going to be late..." I objected

"That's ok" Coby replied placing his hands on my thighs.

"Uhm, well I don't want to miss it" I chuckle nervously and grabbed his hands firmly. It was all so weird for me to feel this way about Coby, it reminded me of....someone. Someone I wanted to forget from now on but I know I wouldn't in the moment. I close my eyes when my arms were held down above my head "Rosa..."
