The next morning, I woke up on the floor, in the corner between the door and the wall connected to it. A sharp pain plunged into my back as I sat up. "Ow..." I sighed and picked myself up off the floor and headed to the shower. I held my head and remembered I didn't take any of my clothes from Gia's house. "Shit". I mumbled under my breath. I went for the door to head downstairs to my car. I turned the knob and someone fell through landing on my bare feet. I squealed heavy until I realized it was Bruno. "Rosa" he had spoken, softly. "What...did you sleep right there overnight?" I asked and he reached for my leg. I bent over and picked him up. He was surprisingly lightweight for a guy. "Yeah", Bruno said, the rasp in his voice increasing. "I listened to you cry all night until you had fell asleep". My eyes grew big and I frowned. "You were crying so hard, it broke my heart". Bruno said still laying on the floor but this time beside the white leather couch. I put my head down , a little embarrassed. "Why'd you cry so hard?" Bruno asked and I kept my silence like it was gold. I sat there wondering what to do. "Answer me baby". My head shot up and my heart was beating ten times faster than before. I shook my head "don't call me that".

"I'm sorry".

"You've been apologizing a lot lately and I never feel like you're actually sorry".

"Lord knows I am. I'm ashamed of myself and when I look at you I just see all the pain in you and I hate myself for it". Bruno sat up with his head down and I quickly looked away from him. "Rosa, I'm the biggest fool for you and I'm not the one to hold on to people but I will keep fighting for you". Bruno said and stood up walking over to me. His eyes fell to my lips and then back to my sight. I cleared my throat and stuffed my hands in my back pockets.

"I need clothes.." I said and he dug in his pockets for the keys. "Can I take you shopping?" Bruno asked. I wasn't sure if he was being sarcastic or not. "We can go to Gia's house and just get my bags".

"I know, I just don't want to put you through what happen last night". I sighed and looked at him nervously. "Yeah..I guess you can then". I said tying my hair up in a messy bun.

"I don't think those fit". Bruno chuckled looking at Rosa in the oversized grey Paris sweater that hung to her knees. "Yeah I agree." She said walking back into the dressing room.

"Bruno", Rosa whispered.

"What's wrong?" He replied walking over by the stall. It unlocked and the door opened slightly. "Uh Rosa I.." Bruno stopped his sentence when Rosa walked out in the black silk night gown , he had picked out for her just to tease her. It fit her so perfectly, her slim frame being exposed in the back. "It...looks, uh..." Bruno scratched behind his head and tried to fight the urge he had while looking at her.

"It's too much, isn't it?" She asked.

"Uh, no. No, it looks amazing. You look amazing".

Rosa smiled and closed the stall door. Bruno went to sit back down waiting for her to get the stuff she wanted and gathered it up.

Once they were done shopping, the day was nearly gone and the sun was setting. They then went to grab a cup of coffee and headed back to the hotel.

"I'll pay you back, thank you".

"No, you're fine. My gift to you, I probably owe you a lot more but-"

"Stop it.." Rosa said and picked up her bags, throwing them on the couch. "Well, I'll see you later", Bruno said handing her , the lingerie bags he was carrying. "Bruno?"

"Yes, Rosa". He replied staring deep into her eyes. He could see she was hurt and she was scared but she was lonely. She needed comfort. "Can you stay, please?" Rosa asked and her head fell to their feet and she realized how close they were compared to before. "Sure. I'll just need to grab a few things at home". He said and Rosa nodded. "I'll wait for you". She smiled slightly.

"Ok, I'll be right back".

"Ok."

Bruno soon left and Rosa grabbed her bag of clothes and organizing her wardrobe in the drawers of the dresser in her room. About twenty minutes passed and Bruno still hasn't been seen. Even after she showered and dressed herself in that black night gown, she liked so much. He still didn't show up but she waited, waited to be comfort and waited to vent her feelings to him but hours passed. Soon she was fast asleep on the white leather couch, still waiting.

**

I walked into the hotel room, looking for Rosa. I had went home to get my toothbrush and a change of clothes. I sat my bag down beside the door and closed it. I walked into the bedroom assuming she was in there but she wasn't , I walked out the room and saw her asleep on the couch. She was laid on her side , almost curled into a ball. "Rosa.." I whispered. I crouched down beside the couch and shook her lightly.

"Rosa, it's me". I said and she shifted up into the couch and rubbed her eyes. "It's Bruno, I'm back". I said and she looked at me as I smiled. Her arms wrapped around my neck. "I didn't think you were going to come back".

"No, I'm here" I said "I'll always be here".

I looked at her and saw tears fill into her eyes. "I'm so sorry for causing you pain". I said feeling my heart twitch with regret. "Bruno". Rosa cried.

"Yes?" I answered.

"I've missed you so much". Rosa said and hugged me tightly and I stood up wrapping my arms around her and spinning us around a couple times before putting her back down and looking straight into her eyes. Face to face.

She doesn't know how much I love her.
