( :3 hey you, who ever you are, so heres the continuation of the last chapter :P )
Daniels blood and adrenaline was pumping as her lips moved with his. It had suprised him how she didnt hesitate to hide her emotions towards him. He subsided the fact she had just thrown up and that made him sort of pull away from her. Amanda was in fact a very attractive girl but he did in fact just meet her. Considering he was a bit drunk and some what high he didn really care. She looked at him and he could tell she was embarresed by her actions. She blushed and looked away from him looking abit sad.
"Whats wrong?" he asked her as she kept her hair in her face as she looked down. She wouldnt answer him and Daniel lifted her chin up gently having her look at him directly in the face. He was shocked when he noticed tears running down her eyes. What did he do now? He wiped away her tears from her cheeks with his thumb and gave her a gentle smile. She was drunk after all so its probably normal for a chick to be crying right? Since, they get all emotional and stuff.
She shook her head and let more tears flow from her eyes. "You know you're the nicest person I've met since I've arrived here. Oh my gosh, what is my dad gonna say when he finds out Im drunk? He'll kill me!" She kept on murmering and rammbling on about how her dad was going to kill her and beat her up, things like that. Daniel stared at her confused and didn't know what to make out of it. He doubted he would literally beat her. But he knows some where in the back of his mind he kind of believed her.
"Just calm down, Okay? "he said. He helped her up and into the loudness of the party. She looked down and depressed but he couldnt be like this with her the whole night. He wanted to do something exciting. The party was still in full swing and there were still tons of people dancing. Maybe he can get her to dance with him? Daniels never been a good dancer though but fuck it.
Right when he was going to take her onto the dance floor a slow song comes on and it was the perfect chance to get her to dance. He dragged her to the floor with him, not literally, and gently placed his hand on her back and she rested her hands over his shoulders. She pressed her self against him and leaned her head on his shoulder. He could smell her perfume in her hair and it smelled of a soft flowery sent. Almost like lilac and a hint of lavender. He actually felt comfortable this close to her. They both moved to the music and others joined in with them.
"Thank you." Amanda had whispered it to him so quiet he barley made out the words. He gave her a smile and nodded. She smiled back and rested her head on his shoulder again. He noticed she looked more calm and less depressed than she did earlier. The song ended quickly and everybody started jumping along with the upbeat music. Well that moment didnt last long. He sighed and wished he could of had a longer moment with her. To have a special moment to have a lasting impression on her. Then he got a brilliant idea. His dad had installed lights all around the backyard and by the pool. The lights where like christmas lights but not the colorful ones, the white colored lightes. He could take her out by the pool and have a some what romantic place to talk or something.
" Wait right here, yeah?" he said to her over the loud music. She nodded and sat in a chair as he left to go and turn on the lights. He stepped out back and nobody was out back. Perfect. He lit up the lights that light up the pool. Now the back yard was decked out with bright lights and the illumination of water waves against the fence. Daniel went back inside to go get Amanda but she wasnt in her chair. He furrowed his eyebrows looked around until he found her talking to a guy.
Great, Daniel knew the guy too. His name was Jake, a jock at our school and a total player. What was she doing with him? He goes over to get her but he realizes she giggling and flirting back with him. All his hopes of a "romantic" talk was abliterated. He sighed and walked away from them. Some how he saw it coming, she was pretty, which means guys would be hitting on her. What he didnt know was that Amanda had noticed him walking away from them. She had absolutly no idea what Daniel was planning.
Daniel couldnt help but be mad and his anger took the best of him. He turned off the music and stopped the music.
"Everybody get out! Out of my house now!" he yelled and everybody was booing and shouting back. Daniel started pushing people out and evrybody got the idea. Even Jake left and guess who left with him. Yup, you guessed it, Amanda. She had looked at him once before she left with Jake but Daniel didnt awknowledge her prescence. Maybe he was drunk after all and these feelings for her were just a mirage. It didnt matter all he wanted now was sleep. He shut off the lights in the backyard and got a bottle of vodka from the fridge. And now like his dad hes gonna drink away his sorrows.
