Valen sat on his knees in his chambers, meditating. His entire life had changed in the blink of an eye, and he needed to come to grips with himself. The bloodline he was heir to was so much more than simple slaves or workers, but actual decendency of the Sith Emperor himself! Now he was a Lord, but he needed to be more. He was more. He was a prince! An heir to the Empire! He clenched his fists. Others knew, and tried to stop him. They feared him, and his potential.

Valen kept this a secret, and went about his daily routine: train, study, eat, attend meetings with the Lords, meet with his master, who was still Rankin, then have the rest of the day to do whatever he wanted. Valen decided today to go to an old teacher and friend: Zyn.

Zyn was in his chambers meditating when Valen came in. He sat by his old teacher and waited. Zyn turned and smiled, the Sith tattoos on his face crinkling as he spoke.
"Ah, Valen, what brings you here on this fine evening?" Valen shrugged and smiled. "Just wanted to visit an old friend." The old man chuckled and patted his shoulder. "C'mon now, you have something on your mind." As far as Sith went, Zyn was definately more friendly than most, that's probably why he isn't a Darth. "Nothing, just..I found something and its been bothering me." Zyn raised an eyebrow and tilted his head. "Which is..?" He questioned. Valen explained everything, every detail he knew. Zyn simply listened, nodding at a few points. At the end Zyn stood up, looked Valen right in the eyes, then kneeled. "You have my support, my Lord Valen." Valen stood and smiled, he took his friend by the hand and stood him up. "You do not kneel to me, but the Council will." Zyn nodded and saluted him, smacking his own chest with his fist, and Valen repeated the action. He smiled and threw up his hood, and left the room. Zyn called after him. "My students are yours, my liege." Valen stopped and half turned to him, smiled and nodded, then left.
