ASHLEY'S(POV)
I decided to just skip the rest of school and I rode back to my new home. I walked in and made my way to my room, a nap sounded perfect right about now. I put my board in my closet, changed and was in my bed within a few seconds. I was asleep for maybe twenty minutes before my door slammed open.
"And why are you not at school young lady?" I looked up to see my mom standing in my door way with her arms on her hips trying her best to give me a stern disapproving look.
"Uhh..I'm sick?" I tried throwing in a fake cough but knew she didn't buy any of it.
"Babe its your first day, you can't be skipping already, thats so unacceptable, want to tell me why you're here and not in class?" she walked over and sat at the foot of my bed.
I sat up pulling the covers over my knees to my chin.
"Look I'm sorry mom, I just got super frustrated with some girls at lunch prying into my life, I was too irritated to deal with more classes and more annoying questions." She gave me a weak smile before heading out. "Don't make a habit of skipping because girls are always going to be bitches, get used to it, also dinner is at six." oh damn it I almost forgot I had to have dinner with mom and her boy toy tonight, could this day get any better?
I stayed in bed playing games on my phone till around four, when I finally decided to get up and take a shower. I wonder who this guys kid is, my mom said she was my age so she must go to my school, I swear if its that ratchet girl Lisa I'm leaving the house. I was digging through my closet trying to pick out an outfit when as usual my mom came rushing in.
"Sorry sweetie change of plans they will actually be here, well now, they're in the kitchen."
"MOM, what the hell you told me six! its barley five! I still have no clue what to wear or have my hair done." I was so annoyed with this shit. My mom was just making a mess of my room looking at my clothes after a minute she hands me a dress.
"You're kidding right? I'm not wearing a god damn dress!"
"Yes you are Ashley, now put it on and ill expect you downstairs in ten minutes not a minute longer" With that she slammed my door. I dress really, there was nothing more I hated then wearing dresses, I was more of a tom boy, Jeans and joggers were my style. Sighing I took my sweet time getting dressed and I did my hair in light curls falling down my back, put on eye liner and mascara to make my green eyes pop a little. I grabbed my phone and noticed its been twenty five minutes already.
"Shit" I mumbled to myself hurring to throw my black flats on, took one last glance in my mirror and smirked at the reflection, I looked really good actually, the last couple summers of soccer totally paid off. the black dress fit perfectly stoping just above my knees, showing off my killer toned legs. I tucked my phone into my bra and walked out.
I was at the bottom of the stairs when I heard a voice that sounded much to familiar.
"Yeah I love soccer too, try outs are actually next week, I couldn't be more excited for this year, we have an amazing team."
