After parking myself in front of Chloe, I glared at her. I was going to make her see what I felt. About her. Yeah, I'd never really noticed her these last two years, but that was because of what happened with Callista and Simon. And now that they were together again, and Mila was off my back, I was going to tell her.
"Go away Derek." Chloe said annoyedly. I huffed, making sure I was still in front of her. Then I leaned down and kissed. It was as if something went off inside me, and a whole bunch of memories flooding through me. Where Chloe and I were together, and how her kids were ours. And Mila trying to get in my pants. Someone named James. I heard Chloe gasp, and I broke away from her. She looked at me with awestruck eyes, filled with love too.
"Derek." She said as if she'd never seen me before. Chloe pulled me down again, and kissed me hard. She slipped her tongue into my mouth, and we both groaned when our tongues met. It was pure pleasure, and I was going to murder Mila for keeping us apart. Keeping me from my mate. My Chloe. Chloe broke away first, gasping for air. I hugged her close to me.
"I love you Chloe." I mumbled in her ear. She whimpered, kissing me again. I didn't complain, it seemed like forever since we'd seen each other. And in a way, it had been a long time. I wanted her, no, needed her now. It'd been much too long for my wolf's liking.
I love you too Der, so so much. And I'm never letting you get away from me again, ever. Chloe thought into my mind. To be honest, I'd kind of forgotten that we had that, it'd been so long since we'd talked through each other's minds. I love you too baby, I love you more than life itself. Chloe sighed contentedly, then suddenly went rigid.
"What about the others? We have to get them to remember." Chloe told me in an undertone. "And we can't let Mila know we know about this." I nodded. That would be dangerous. "We can always talk telepathically if we need to communicate."
"And no telling our kids. I don't want them to accidentally call me Daddy in front of Mila." Chloe thought about it, then nodded. But you have to visit me sometimes, I don't think I could bear to be away from you for too long. Agreed. I'll try to sneak in your house sometime at night. Chloe smiled, then walked off to where her-our-kids were. I followed, but tried to make it seem like I was talking to her.
Chloe finally went home with the kids, and I went to mine and Simon's house, that he was trying to convince Callista to stay in our house with him. To live with us, and Tammi too.
"Uncle Derek!" Tammi cried when I got into the house. I smiled and pulled Tammi up into a hug. "Mommy and Daddy fighting in the kitchen. Mommy might live with us soon!" She squealed, jumping out of my arms. I walked into the kitchen to indeed fine Callista and Simon fighting. Something about instability and such.
"Callista, just live with us. If things go wrong, you can always move out later." I snapped. Der, be nice to my sister! I heard Chloe screech. She may be your future sister in law. Fine baby, I just don't want to listen to fighting. And I miss you already. I know, but we'll be together when this is all over. And hopefully, Mila will be dead. I smiled at Chloe's violence streak, which she never has. She's always so peaceful.
"Fine." Callista huffed. I personally didn't see what the big deal was. Maybe cause things have been awkward between them, and they don't know what really happened and that this is all fake? I guess you're now officially a smart aleck. I like it babe. Why thank you, baby. You're welcome. After that, I signed off to seem like I was normal, and my girlfriend wasn't talking to me through my head.
"We have a spare bedroom upstairs, or you could use the guest bedroom if you wanted." I offered, and Callista nodded. Simon glared at me, obviously not liking that idea. "And I don't think Simon would mind if you slept with him. Quite the opposite actually." I added, winking at Simon. I went upstairs to my room, collapsing on my bed. It was only six o'clock, and already I missed Chloe.
I probably wouldn't be able to talk to her for a while, she had to take care of her kids, all that happy jazz. But you will come over tonight, right? If you want me to. If I didn't want you to, why would I ask? Makes sense. I'll come over tonight baby girl, I promise. Good. Until then, Fluffy. Fluffy? Did she seriously just call me FLUFFY? I was going to have to have a word with her about what I will and won't accept as nicknames, and I definitely won't accept Fluffy.
At ten o'clock, I was finally able to go to Chloe's house. Everyone at our houses were asleep.
"Hi Derek." Chloe greeted me softly when I climbed through her window. She came over by me and kissed me happily, me responding. I slipped my tongue into her mouth, needing to taste her. She moaned, falling onto the bed, bringing me on top of her. I missed this. I did too baby girl. Chloe ripped my shirt off, tearing it to pieces. Not that I minded, quite the opposite, it was hot seeing Chloe being a little violent.
I ripped her shirt off too, buttons from her blouse popping off. I broke away from Chloe's kissable lips, to kiss her neck.
"Mommy?" A soft voice called, and there in the doorway was a little boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. "Mommy, dat Daddy?" He asked, looking at me with eyes wider than saucers.
"Ummm, yes?" Chloe responded, but it sounded more like a question. She cleared her throat, getting up and throwing on my shirt. "Yes, this is your Daddy. But no telling anyone, okay Jayden?" Before Jayden could respond, a whole bunch of kids threw themselves into the room.
"It's okay Mommy, we remember too." Luke cried, throwing his arms around me. "You made us remember too! And then maybe we could get the others to remember and stop Mila!"
"Yeah, Aiden doesn't like me anymore." Aurora stated with a frown on her face. I guess the feelings were mutual. "Not that I care, really, but it was nice to have a friend." Uh huh, sure she didn't care. Nothing like young puppy love. "Anyway, how did you guys get your memories back?"
"I kissed her." I stated. "So we must get the others to kiss each other, and then figure out what to do about Robin, Lilith, Austin, and Penelope, since I'm not sure if the found anyone they knew before the disaster hit." Chloe shook her head.
"Penelope and Austin got together. She's 19 now, and he's 20. I didn't talk to them much, just talked to them every holiday." Chloe explained. "I do know that they're going out on a date soon, if you want to set them up." Lila nodded, looking over at Chloe.
"Leave it to me Mom. I got this." She said, and Joey nodded. Chloe nodded to them, then went to pick up Brianna, while I picked up Kayden. Jayden didn't like to be held.
"C'mon babies, it's time to go to bed. But remember, no telling anyone." The children nodded, scurrying off to their bedrooms. I grinned when I looked down at Chloe.
"Shall we continue?" I asked her, and we continued our fun activities from before.
