Chapter Seventeen

It's been terrible. Just today I figured out that Blossom and Cherry weren't affected by me taking everyone's memories. They still had theirs. I was going to have to fix that, and not by trying fruitlessly to wipe their brains clean. I was going to have to kill them, and hope they don't find Chloe in their afterlife.

I was at Blossom and Cherry's counseling office, where they met with Enna. Who knew what they were telling that poor woman.

"Hello Blossom and Cherry. It's been two years since I've last seen you. I quite hope you haven't forgotten little old me." The door was locked, and there were no windows. No escape when I wanted someone dead. Blossom and Cherry turned towards me, scowling.

"Been quite a while, hasn't it? I'd say we missed you, but we were taught not to lie." Cherry snapped. Blossom started laughing, and I zapped her with a lethal energy bolt. She dropped over, dead as a doornail. Cherry looked over at me with rage and disgust in her eyes, something I'd seen a lot when people looked at me. That's why I gave in to the monster everyone saw in me.

"You next. I don't have time to be messing around, so I'll make this quick." I said before zapping her with a lethal energy bolt as well. With that taken care of, I went to take care of Lilith. One of my people were at the restaurant when they heard her talking about the erased memories. Just great. I didn't even know there was a way for the spell I put on them to get broken.

I drive my car well over the speed limit to get to Lilith, Austin, and Penelope's house. Hopefully Austin and Penelope are completely clueless, I still had some pureness left in me. I wasn't a complete murderer yet. I say you're a complete murderer once you've killed ten or more people. With Lilith, I would've only killed five. And luckily, Lilith was home alone.

I didn't even say anything, just grabbed a gun and shot her with it. I used a spell to wipe my fingerprints off of it, then put it in Lilith's hand. Make it look like suicide. I got t out of there quickly after that. No need to get caught by people who didn't exactly know who I was. Well, the real me. That they used to know.

I decided that Derek and I had been on break long enough. It's been two days, time for me to pretend I missed him. Our relationship has been getting rockier and rockier, and I haven't even had any fun. All I've gotten to do was torture Saunders, and she seems to not care anymore.

I knocked on the door, and to my surprise, Simon answered.

"Hey Mila." He said nonchalantly, letting me in. "Derek!" He called. Derek grumbled, coming into the living room, where I already had fake tears in place.

"Derek, I'm sorry, really. You know how my mood swings get, my meds ran out, I had to wait until yesterday to get the new ones. And I love you so much-" Lie. "I just can't be without you. Please forgive me and take me back." I hated all this begging. Too bad I hated Chloe even more. Derek sighed, like he really didn't want to do this. He never wanted to do this. He was never a patient man.

"Fine." He said, then left. "We've got company." He called out. "With lots of kids. Some old friends of ours decided to come visit." That's when I really looked around. Robin, Reese, Chase, Callista, Carli, Chloe, Austin, Penelope, Peter, Enna, all the kids. They were all here. They just smiled smiles at me, acting nonchalant.

"Hey Mila." Carli grinned at me, as if I were her bestest friend on the whole planet. Which I'm not. I hate her because she's related to Chloe, and I despise Chloe.

"Wow, I can see why Derek likes you." Austin smirked with a wink. Penelope punched his arm, but it was lightly, as if she didn't at all feel threatened. Okay, this is all weird. Random people who don't even know me, who have girlfriends sitting right next to them, are hitting on me. And they're younger than me too. Ew.

"Long time no see." Aiden had this feral smile on his face, as did all the kids. Then they all lunged at me-the little brats-and tied me up with rope. When they were done, they smiled proudly. Then Lila smacked me across the face.

"Payback!" She sneered. Then all the kids started jumping on me screaming their bratty little heads off, while the adults just sat there talking. Screw not being a murderer, I'm killing them all. Saving a select few for my torturous and wild fun. I put a binding spell on everyone in the room, then tried my best to get out of the ropes. After I got out of the ropes and stuff, I stood up, brushing myself off.

"I don't know what y'all are playing at, but I don't like it. You'll all die eventually, I'm just willing to speed up the promise." I threatened. Then, to prove my point, I closed all the doors, spell locking them. I then let everyone out of the binding spell, knowing they couldn't escape. "If you think I'm kidding, I'll just give you a reminder of what I'm capable of." I threw a lethal energy bolt at Robin, killing her instantly. "I killed Damien, Anna, Lilith, Blossom, Cherry, and Robin. I'm willing to kill more people."

I started throwing random spells around, not lethal ones, but stuff like knockbacks and spells like that. Even some energy bolts, but the non lethal kind. When energy bolts aren't lethal, all they do is paralyze the victim for a moment or two, putting them through pain in that moment, kind of like a taser. I think. Human toys these days are complicated.

I mainly went for the kids, knowing the adults would try to protect them. Then I could get the adults, go for the kids, and start the process all over again. Like a game of cat and mouse. But this cat was starting to get bored. I quickly hit everyone with a knockback spell, sending them all into walls. Carli completely blanked out, but it's not like that piece of metal was any help to them. Chloe was knocked out, so I wouldn't have to put up with her constant whining. And most of the kids were out cold too, got thrown into the wall too hard I guess.

Before I could do anything, something hard hit the back of my head. I reached back to find blood.

I decided to put a chapter up before I go on a short weekend vacay, where I'll be too busy making cookies-aka, eating the cookie dough-to write anything. So I've given you this lovely chapter to satisfy your need to see how this story ends. I'm sorry to say it's almost over for good. No third book. But I may be starting a new DP fanfic. On that note, Sayonara!
